No sink, no chair and no cooker.

It was convenient

1.They requested for deposit last minute which is not refundable over a week after you check out. 2. Absolutely no parking 3. No sink to wash out dirty dishes 4. Thin walls, you can hear discussions from next room.

The apartments are directly over a very noisy bar. The music was played past 1am and essentially vibrated throughout the room, through the floors and walls. You could hear the songs perfectly clearly, so sleeping was non-existent until the bar closed. With the cost of the property, we expected a lot more.

Nothing

We booked a “Superior Studio” for 2 nights from 7 November 2025 for £264. The property had no reviews yet as it was new but based on the very nice photos on the site we decided to give it a go. On arrival we were shocked because rather than a spacious Superior Studio with a table and chairs, which is what we were led to believe we were booking by the pictures on the site, we were allocated a miniscule single room with almost no floor space. The double bed was pushed up against the wall covering the radiator and there was a chest of drawers at the bottom of it so that the person sleeping near the wall would have to physically climb over the other person to get out of bed to go to the toilet during the night. I have never seen such a small bedroom in my life. We were with a group of friends who had booked standard studios so we got to see all the others on the floor which were substantially larger than ours and had tables and chairs. I immediately contacted the provider via the contact form on the website, asking to be moved. There was no response all weekend. The room was also facing onto a very busy main road and right above a rowdy pub which had a lock in with music until the early hours both nights. We were so unhappy with the room that we went and stayed with some friends who lived nearby on the Friday night but they couldn’t fit us in on Saturday so we had to stay at the “apartment”. On Saturday morning I received a standard form Whatsapp message from the providers saying if there were any issues to let them know. I replied to the Whatsapp listing the issues and no-one even read it on replied. Also, a few days before our arrival we had requested a late checkout at 12 which the site said was available for an extra £15. We didn’t even receive a response to that request, just a reminder message during our stay to get out at 10am. I was very thankful we hadn’t paid the extra £15 as I would not have wanted to stay in that place a moment longer.

It’s was clean and tidy

The noise from the traffic was bad and also from the adjacent pub when live music was playing. We were a couple and there was only one cup and one fork, we sent an email to ask for another cup etc didn’t get anything.

Great set up, very clean room & bathroom. Excellent communication

The shower was tiny, despite being in a big bathroom; the bed must have been on a slope so the rolling out potential was comical. Not easy to open the room door, but maybe takes more practice
