An excellent place to stay. Would def recommend, and hopefully return to next year!

Very well appointed self catering cottage. Very comfy -- beds were excellent. Lots of wardrobe space and storage - perfect if staying for a week or more. Comfortable open plan kitchen/dining + living room. Excellent kitchen and bathroom. Unlike a lot of self catering homes, this one didn't feel as if the owners skimped on things or filled it with cheap stuff.

Only 'gripe' was the shower flooring -- the tiles were very slippery when wet + soapy. A non slip mat would be ideal [ tho difficult with the centred drain ], or a grab handle at the very least. The owner told us she has had complaints re the wifi. My friend and I are with different providers: I had no problem whatsoever, but the wifi frequently cut out for my friend. [ EE ]

Lovely stay 😁

Nice location away from the bustle of the city centre, you can park easily outside the cottage. It has everything you need. We were there for a family funeral and we were able to hire two cottages next door to each other, we were travelling with two elderly people one was 102, so this was perfect and accessible . I’m so glad I chose these cottages over a hotel, it was cheaper and better for a big family or friends, it would be perfect for a break away in Bristol in the summer too.

Lovely Stay

Lovely place, very clean, bed comfy and everything you need there. Biscuits and sachets of hot chocolate left which was a nice touch. Unfortunately I wasn't too well when I stayed so I didn't go out. You will need a car here which I didn't have, but my son and daughter live close by. I was woken both mornings by screaming children running about next door at 5am which went on for a while, not the owners fault obviously. If it was 7am fair enough. I will return again and hopefully can spend more time there to see my family.

When booking, the hosts were very responsive and answered a variety of questions. We needed somewhere wheelchair accessible and it was accessible. It had good parking and was spotless. It’s in a great location easy to get to Bath and Bristol centres from

Just what we needed for our weekend away.

All you needed in a well equipped kitchen. Comfy bed, spacious bedroom. Good shower in the bathroom. Parking outside the property. Quiet location. Near to Bristol, Bath and Avon Railway.

Great location, well appointed unit/cottage with good amenities. Can definitely recommend. Was hot when there in summer, the fan was a god send!

The WiFi signal strength wasn’t great, and with two teenage girls, they were rolling their eyes! Would be good to have had access to washing machine, but not a deal breaker.

Little Gem of a place.

Lovely clean accommodation. Very comfortable bed, loved the added extra touches. The biscuits went down a treat after a long drive :-) Very peaceful and hidden in a beautiful location.

Cloverlea Cottages have everything we needed to a relaxing weekend.

Our Cloverlea Cottage was exceptional, it was clean, warm, spacious and had everything we needed for a weekend away. We particularly liked the luxurious walk-in shower and very comfortable beds. Janice was very helpful and able to answer any queries we had promptly. Looking forward to staying there again before too long.

Clean and uncomplicated accomodation. Quiet location. Large space. Off road parking. Nice touch of luxury biscuits and hot chocolate sachets on arrival. Makes a nice welcome. Great shower. Easy uncomplicated key safe to use.

I thought the single bed wasn't the best comfort . I think there's an option to have a double so would probably do that next time. I think as in the photo of accommodation it would be nice to have the trees /greenery outside the chalet as they weren't there on this and last visit.

Nice set of rural apartments, clean and comfortable.

The apartments are well appointed and clean, for two people they are very comfortable. It's more of a push for three or more. There is a folding bed which is good, but regulations need invasive exit signs which can be a distraction in the kitchen living room area. The toilet and show are good, plenty of water from the shower head. Parking is directly in front of the apartment. Sound insulation is good and the buildings are warm and dry.

The location, on a farm, is hard to find especially in the dark. It would help to have better lighting at the gate. There is track lighting into the property, but it's rather slow to start. Due to the problems with the local bridge over the M4 the access road is now a busy rat run at peak times. However the property is positioned so you can get access to Yate and North Bristol relatively quickly.

Modern and well appointed rooms, nice shower, good kitchen. Parking is good. Beds are comfortable and the folding bed is easy to open.

Emergency exit signs are highly disturbing for sleepers in the lounge area. It would be best if they were only on when a fire alarm sounds. Some noise from M4.
