Unpleasant, checked out immediately and requested refund but was declined.

Not as described, please read other reviews before booking, location is within social housing/council house complex, rubbish in main lobby area, strong smell of drugs in adjacent property, planned to stay here with my children but had to book alternative accomodation, no refund received or support. PLEASE READ REVIEWS!

A welcome find for a desperate stay!

Cozy, peaceful, spacious and warm. Booked very last minute and was ready instantly. So happy. Rang the host and got the key lock box code. Local pub 2 mins walk away and Morrisons local. Also a retail park with cinema, restaurants and large supermarkets 10-15 mins away. Parking right outside. Tea, coffee etc on windowsill.

Wine glasses would have been nice. Also, we would have liked bedding for the sofa bed, but our booking was so last minute.

Very disappointing

We needed a place walking distance to visit family

No bed linen for sofabed loose kitchen cupboards no toaster. 1 bedroom needed darker curtains no hand towel for bathroom nails on some doors - we presume to hang a towel? The place needs decorating better furniture and some thought into people staying there- we feel this isnt up to any decent standard the owner didnt answer our questions we left after 1 night didnt stay the second- cant recommend it

Overall ok. Could be greatly improved with more attention to detail and basic renovation.

Good communication from the host, who made it easy to get in touch if needed. Comfy beds. Warm. Fairly quiet location. Beds and towels were clean. General cleanliness was ok. Some nice pictures on the wall. Wifi worked well. Parking close by is generally available.

Edit: I've just seen some other reviews, and it seems very likely that there are fake positive reviews that are propping up the ratings, which is dishonest. I'd be very surprised if anyone could honestly give this a 10, or 8 and say it's 'exceptional' or 'very good'. The apartment was not very well maintained, with little effort put into ambiance. There was no handwash / shampoo / conditioner supplied. Cookware, crockery, and glasses / mugs were ok, but not clean on arrival. Only 2 seats + a stool for the dining table; not ideal for a family of 4. No hairdryer. Occasionally the nearby parking is full and parking on a street further away is required. Smell of cannabis being smoked by neighbours was strong at times.

Don’t Stay here - Scam

We didn’t stay it was that disgusting

We arrived at the property. It is in a shared block of council flats. The entrance is scruffy full of rubbish and smells bad. The door was wide open to the apartment when we went upstairs. There were urine stains on both beds. The fridge was very dirty. There was a stain on the sofa. The entire apartment smelt of Smoke/Marijuana. The Landlord is obviously playing the system as we were refused a refund. I’m still taking to booking.com to hopefully resolve this matter. It cost us £196.00 to not stay at a disgusting apartment. AVOID!! AVOID!!
