Comfortable, clean, well equipped.

At the top of a small but steep hill, then 3 flights of stairs to apartment. Would not be suitable for limited mobility. A little difficult to find entrance to block.

surface level good, had to clean it ourselves, poor customer service

it was very cosy and had a warm feel from the surface level

whilst on the surface it looked good, the place obviously hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while, which is a joke since they said no early check-ins due to cleaning, there were hairs in the bathroom, cracks in the floor and fixtures, couldn’t use the blinds properly, the wardrobe was filthy, lampshades were damaged and not screwed in properly, they ask you to take the rubbish out for them but when you do it’s a convoluted and confusing experience, when we went to complain to them, their phone number didn’t work, and we got no responses on booking.com even though they said to message if there were any concerns. It was so disappointing we cleaned the surfaces and dishes etc ourselves to be safe. I would never go back, it was filthy, over priced and just overall disappointing.

All good except the blinds

The window blinds were clearly an ongoing problem - despite my respecting the rules about only opening/closing slats but not raising them , on the second day one lot of blinds fell out of fitting onto me!

A good location in central Bristol

The location is good in relation to central Bristol, taking the hills into account! Access to the apartment is easy and it is modern and clean in an old building. The high ceilings give it a good character. The shower is good.

We couldn't open the blinds! The cord on the left blind was too high and there was no cord to the right blind. It's a studio apartment and it is often assumed people will eat out. We like to cook for ourselves and some things were missing. There were no eggcups or cafetière for example. The bed was comfortable but rather narrow, a small double.

Avoid unless your absolutely desperate

Not a lot. The bathroom was ok. Location was good but reason we stayed.

Cleanliness - Not clean. Grubby and I felt I had to wash kitchen utensils and crockery before using. Table in room was dirty. Floor boards - creaky and sticky Blinds - falling apart Heating - only came on in morning and evening. It was a cold weekend and we needed to have it on at least low Internet - worse internet I've ever used. So bad I couldn't use the apps on TV i.e. iplayer. I had to use my laptop to hot spot from my phone Bin in kitchen - the lid did not close, so I had to put a heavy object on it. In a studio, the bin needs a lid. Bins are cheap, no excuse.

Location was great just around the corner from the bristol beacon where we were attending a show

Unfortunately it wasn't the cleanest and the door to the shower was in disrepair the top hinge was broken and fell towards my sister while she was trying to close the door to shower

A great little apartment close to the hospital

Perfect location for the oncology centre where I was having treatment. Despite being on a main road there was a lot less noise than expected. Very comfy bed and well equipped kitchenette.

As others have said, the bathroom light goes off when you're in the shower so be prepared to open the shower door and wave your hand about a bit! The kitchen utensils were thick with grease and the oven tray hadn't been cleaned. There was also big clumps of dust here and there but thankfully not in places that matter. I did report it to the owners and sent photos but I don't know if it was addressed.

Perfect location! Walking distance to everything in town meant we could relax and not stress. Lovely high ceiling apartments, very airy with modern fittings and furnishings.

Slightly creaky floor boards - not one to bother complaining about, let’s be honest! But wanted to note it down as, incredibly, it’s probably the only thing I could find to ‘complain’ about!

Location, size of room, great shower and so clean and tidy.

Uncomfortable lumpy pillows and the flooring was squeaky. There was also no complimentary bottled water on arrival, which would have been a nice touch

Clean and location.

No curtains so too light in the morning. Blinds not working great. No toilet roll holder, 1 teaspoon, 1 glass, no plug in sink so had to wash up under running tap. No shelf in shower for toiletries. Bed very small (even though plenty of space for a bigger one) and sagging in the middle. Generally lacking thought, clear no one from property management has ever stayed in these apartments. Apologies but this is the first bad review I have ever left.

It was quite spacious but bathroom was really cramped when it would have been easy to have made it more larger & more easily useable.

Located up steep steps and street followed by steep narrow stairs in building. No restaurants or grocery outlets nearby. Fairly basic furnishings & fittings. Got tired of barrage of emails from off site management company

Good location, not great stay.

I needed to be close to the university, so location was great. The studio is spacious and is for the area relatively cheap.

It is like the pictures, but overall there are many small things either broken, uncomfortable or not very clean which makes it not a great place. For example, the curtains cannot be opened because the string is broken, the garbage bin does not close, the shower does not drain properly, there is no ventilation system in the bathroom therefore it smells like mold because there is a lot of mold. I was in an apartment on the side of the road which made it very noisy. There is no way to sleep with the windows open. The floorboards are also really noisy. The mattress of the bed is good, but the pillows very very hard and thin. Moreover, I slept there alone luckely (original plan was with my partner), because the size is very small. Lastly, most communication goes with automatic massages which works in general, but when asked questions they are slow to respond. I needed an official invoice for work, but they said that they cannot give that (booking says only they can give that). All and all I would not recommend.

The location was excelant as my wife was in teh Bristol Royal Infermary for an opperation and the Trenchard car park was right next door. Could walk down to warf with in minutes.

It was a lovely studio room , we loved the décor and that it was a old house.

we liked most things about the room.

the only thing that was disappointing was the shower water in the tray backed up and took along time before it drained, so we were unable to use it again.

Comfortable studio close to the university

I enjoyed my stay in this spacious studio. Having access to laundry facilities was a huge plus for me. It was well located for my purposes - attending a conference at the University - and there are shops etc nearby. The flat had almost everything I needed, though they should provide a washing up sponge and tea towel. I had some issues with the bathroom - the shower door was incorrectly installed and fell off while I was showering. Also the light is on a sensor and turned off in the middle of my shower.

Unsatisfactory both in response and accommodation.

Impossible to get in through the front door code. Correct code but the door simply was not working. We were let in by another tenant after waiting for response from the Team Hopewell management for at least half an hour. When they did contact us they said that they had sent someone to check the front security lock and that it worked fine. Subsequently we tried to open the door again without success. Luckily we had a key to the front as did all the other tenant but worryingly that key also opened our apartment. The blinds were broken and dirty and unable to provide proper privacy . The cupboard were dirty. Stains the bed headboard and two bed cushions. The fridge had broken shelving that was placed in the cupboard. There was no way to plug the sink for washing up. There was no cutting board and all the knives were totally blunt. We had to use my pocket knife. The washing machine is in the basement and didn’t work properly, the drier filter was full of lint. Also the stair rail down to the basement was dangerously loose and unsafe. The door from the basement to the garden had been jammed open as was the gate in the fence to the lane. Things were not secure

Two night stay in Bristol

Really easy check-in and great communication from hosts. Room was clean and well-equipped with lovely high ceilings! No streaming service option on the tv and the shower was not amazing but we had a very comfortable bed and both slept really well. Would definitely stay here again! :)

Too cold to sleep!

Location was ok

Coldest night I can remember. Arrived in subzero temperature - windows open! Heating went off 10pm. Shivered in bed under thin duvet (not tog 15 as claimed) until 3.30 am put clothes back on and got back in bed. No extra bedding. Hardly any sleep, impacted work next day Automatic light went off twice in quick shower. Superficially clean but needing deep clean edges and corners. After paying for stay on Booking.com they won't release key code until you provide them with payment card. Didn't release 'deposit' until following week Definitely will not use again.

Great location and good size

Felt very cold after the heating was turned off. It must be on a timer that did not keep the apartment warm for long enough. I was in No.2 which was closest to the basement and that door does not close properly to the back door. Even though I had the radiators turned on to max, the heating didn’t come on after a certain hour which made the evenings extremely uncomfortable unless I had my coat on or many jumpers on in the bed and under the duvet. I also attempted to remove the bin liner from the bin to take out my rubbish, but it seems to have many holes in the liner which meant I couldn’t pull it out from the bin without making further mess on the floor and with nothing to clear it up, I.e dust pan/ brush/ broom. I’m not sure if you need to look into pest control, as it looked like a mouse could’ve been eating at the bin liner

The room was spacious.

The room was dusty and cupboard was not clean. Dryers were not working well. It may be good to share or provide instruction in the laundry area about the washing machine and dryer. The two heaters were not strong and may not be sufficient to make the room warm during winter. Wifi connection was not good, so much lagged time when watching video.
