Good enough with an issue regarding damage deposit
Warm atmosphere, functional room facilities, and reasonably comfortable living spaces — everything was clean. We were able to adjust the heating as we wished. The 3 stars of the appt are right.
It was an issue with return of damage deposit. They wrote us the deposit will be returned in 5 days then they said it was not retained / taken any damage deposit. It was confusing for us and we do not know if we were cheated or not. The house is in an old building, with creaking floors both upstairs and downstairs, worn carpets, and a shared staircase that wasn’t very clean (small bits of rubbish scattered about). Regarding the rubbish and recyclables in front of the building, we understand that in England there aren’t designated storage areas and the pedestrian pavement is narrow. Nothing can really be done about it, the problem is that recyclables pile up and sometimes remain uncollected.

Wi-Fi good, location was perfect for hospitals.
Garbage pile on outside of building was disgusting. Clean it up! Both mattresses were uncomfortable. Shower operation took a while to figure out. written instructions would have been helpful. Lighting was very dim in the dining area. Need to upgrade.
