It was disgusting, blood stains on bed sheets, very thin duvet, uncomfortable mattress.
The place was filthy, there were drugs and clothing on the floor at the entrance.
The key pad was hard to use as the numbers had worn off.
The curtain was by the radiator and was a fire hazard.
The pots and pans in the kitchen were dirty and unusable.
The shower head was filthy.
The worst place I have ever stayed at.
The TV and lps were hung at an angle. There were hardly any cutlery in the kitchen.
Dirty everywhere and blood stains on the bed sheets.
Very noisy outside which made it hard to sleep.
Drugs and clothing by entrance.

The property was in a great location and had facilities such as a washing machine
The cleanliness of the property was very poor. The bathroom wall had blood on it and the kitchen utensils and glasses were dirty. Additionally, it was very hard to get into the property as the instructions on the website are very vague. The staff also didn’t answer the phone for 20 minutes, meaning we were stranded outside the property. We had to help another couple get into the flats, which shows how vague the instructions are. When we messaged the property about this, they said ‘it’s on the website’, so weren’t very helpful with the matter. They also don’t make it very visible that there’s a £150 deposit for the flat, even though it’s very dirty on arrival. The windows also leaked so the window shelf’s were always wet.

central location
Bed springs poking out had to leave a night early. Window broken, lift broken, doesn’t fe very safe and it very clean. Tried to raise a complaint through booking.com but the property never got back to me

I was pleasantly surprised by the size, quality and facilities of the room. It was ideal for my purposes, close to the centre and close enough to where I was working for a few days. The room was spacious and had everything you need for a short stay.
I'm being picky here but the bed was a little too soft for me. The big thick curtain was great for blackout but it also covered the electric heater to to use the heater safely the curtain had to be folded onto the windowsill to avoid risk of fire. Great to have a TV but its position on the wall was a little awkward, maybe if it had a pull out bracket that would be helpful.
The buttons on the entry system are almost impossible to read or see as they are quite worn and there is no lighting there . I was fortunate that another person staying there assisted me on their way out.

The location was great: near walking distance to the station and all main attractions.
The studio needs more attention to cleaning - corners and shelving were dirty/dusty.
Having the TV on an adustab e bracket would mean it would be possible to watch from the bed rather than a dining chair. This owuold go someway to mitigating against the lack of a small sofa.
There was nothing to sipe don kitchen surfaces or bins bags in the kitchen bin.

The instructions I was given did not match the building I had to enter, I had to phone up and find out. For the key box, I didn’t have instructions on where to find key box, I had to Two phone the second time.
Reading the reviews before I booked a number of people mentioned a broken window that wouldn’t close. This window has still not been fixed and I had two sleepless nights listening to people talking walking past delivery lorries 5am in the morning. I also had someone clearly on drugs hanging outside the apartment door inside the building when I come home one evening. I was also limited to about three minutes in the shower as the shower tray just filled up the water flooding the bathroom. The pillows were also battered and didn’t hold any type of shape. I wasn’t expecting the Ritz for what I paid but I expected the window to be fixed and able to have a decent sleep at night and a decent shower.

Fresh modern, clean. Cheerful and easy to get to locations
Mugs could have been a bit cleaner. White mugs had brown streaks in them. Otherwise excellent!
Microwave didn’t heat the food properly.

Very comfortable and had all the basics. And a table fan, which was great. Great location.
Some areas - drawers under the bed, a plastic waste paper basket - were not clean, and the duvet, though clean, was ripped at the seam. Unfortunately, the lift was out of order and my room was on the top floor so I had more exercise than I anticipated!

Location
Getting in was a nightmare. Door code clear but code pad was very difficult to understand. Had to ring letting agent for help.. very poor. When inside lift not working! I have mobility difficulties so this meant I had to walk up stairs. Very tiring and challenging. Not acceptable in any way.

Good, basic, cheap accommodation in the city centre. The room was clean but some elements needed an upgrade.
Sofa was badly stained. Kettle wiring was faulty - sometimes didn’t work. Shower head adjuster broken. Room was advertised as having a separate bedroom - everything was in the same room. Sound proofing poor - I could clearly hear banging and chairs being scraped across the floor in another room at 2am!!!!

Lift still out of order No pans for oven cooking only one wine glass socket on kitchen wall right side not working left side ok Words on entry door not visible buttons had to phone for help

Amazing location, great space within the room and had everything we possibly could need for our few days in Bristol.
One of the two windows were broken. The other window could only open about an inch due to the blind stopping it.
Staff tried to help air flow issue with a small electric fan but that didn't help what so ever.
The room was clean bar the sofa which had left over items from other guests under the cushion.

The location was great. Loved visiting Bristol.
It wasn’t so clean. Didn’t have ordinary items like sugar. Communicated by email, which was responsive, but no staff available to resolve the issues we mentioned. Bed was a bit hard for my liking and the pillows were like flat pancakes!

Location was great, room was clean
It was very noisy due to the street noise outside the window.
Seemingly much louder than any other city street I have stayed on.

I didn’t like anything at all. Came back from work to find out I wasn’t given any bedsheets. Musty and bubbly duvet with other peoples hairs on it. Very old and unwashed pillows with weird stickers on them. Dump on window blinds, surfaces not cleaned at all. Cutlery stained and appliances used and not clean. Shower rails were rusty and full of mold. Shower head was broken and leaking water. Dirty and worn out towels.

Comfortable clean apartment that was very spacious it was in an ideal location to get to local events and the harbour side
Not very clear numbering on the door code box however once explained by accommodation staff who were very friendly this was overcome

The location was good and the studio was clean.
The shower head bracket was fixed, you couldn’t move it up or down and it took a while for the water temperature to change when you moved the temperature dial.
We didn’t receive an email about how to get into the building after we paid the security deposit, only a text saying how to get the key but not how to get to the building. This was quite stressful. However they replied quick and we managed to get into the building to get the keys to the studio.

Great location in terms of being in the city centre just off from the docks.
Bed was comfortable enough.
Shower was easy to use and bathroom was acceptable. Fridge freezer was clean and spacious.
Did not use kitchen facilities, but they appeared clean on the surface and plenty of utensils and pans etc in cupboards.
Unfortunately just wasn’t very clean, there were multiple marks on the sofa, plus, under the cushions (I dropped my perfume down the side) there was a dirty tissue and tonnes of crumbs and hair. Under the bed there are drawers, presumably to put things in, but they were filled with dust and hair.
The fan was tiny, not suitable for the hot weather we’ve had recently and the windows barely opened, and the small fan was thick with grey dust.
I always strip beds when leaving hotels to make it easier for the staff, and there were yellow stains on the pillows and duvet.
The noise from the street was just awful. They say in the listing that visitors must be quiet between 10pm and 8am, and yet the noise from 6am was horrendous. Not the properties fault, but there were constant busses that sounded like they were coming into the building, plus a full bottle/glass bin emptying woke us up at little after 6am.
Something that NEEDS to be addressed is the BOILING tap water. It quite literally got scolding within 3 seconds, no warning signs above the taps as you’d expect from an establishment dealing with the public. Could easily cause burns, I’d suggest being especially careful if bringing children in the property.
They also state everywhere that dishes must be washed before checking out, but there was no washing up liquid or dishwashing tablets in the room.

Everything you needed and right opposite Bristol Hotel where our conference was and seconds to the river. Had everything you needed at a reasonable price. Had some coffee/sugar sachets and little soap, shampoo and body wash. Good WiFi access. Easy to find and good instructions.
The window handle was broken on one window, it needed a mirror (ideally a full length one for getting dressed. Body wash in shower empty. Lights were quite dim. Lift was broken.

It was clean and comfortable
We didn’t realise until a couple of days into our stay that the fridge/freezer didn’t work so we couldn’t store food or dairy. The light was working only. I don’t know if the previous tenants reported it. The managers had it inspected and offered us another room but we preferred to stay on the ground floor as the lift was out of order. The TV only faced one way so you could only watch it from chairs around the table.

I liked the amount of facilities and the location
Retrieval of keys was poorly planned across the hosts behalf , asked for a £150 deposit an hour before the stay, and was not replying to us when asking for a key as was meant to send a code but didn’t, had to contact them through another group who were in the lobby that had managed to get a hold of them as they hadn’t sorted their keys.

Location good. Bed comfortable
Dirty toilet - brown streaks
Shower tray blocked - could only take one shower or high risk of overflowing. Thus is not acceptable.
Floor rug badly marked - looks dirty
No toilet roll holder
Bathroom wall badly marked - needs clean up/ painting
Window to main road not sealed- a lot of noise from outside (right through night)
Photos online did not reflect where we stayed (e.g. no bedside lockers with lamps)

Pillows were lumpy - needed changing. Lift to top floor out of order

Only the location. Everything else was awful.
Elevator out of order, no upkeep whatsoever, filthy walls, showers, bathroom, kitchen area. This is the type of place where you can catch a disease. The rooms there are mostly used for something else and not from tourists or for real business. Complained about the cleanliness, but they couldn't help at all. The issue is not with the staff but with the lack of investment for basic upkeep. They just asked me to post photos, so here I am. Also, I cracked my head open to because where a head rest is supposed to be, it's instead an awful pillar corner and was bleeding like a pig for hours. I will never ever come back to this place, even if it's the last place in the world left.

The location was excellent. The apartment was a good size with a range of kitchen equipement (needs an oven glove). The bed was comfy and the bathroom decent. Nice touch with shower gel etc. too.
It was very noisy and people in the flats next door making noise in the small hours. The wifi wasn't working. Could do with two comfy chairs in the room so both people can watch TV.

this was self catering apartment, but an hotel familiar to us was nearby and provided us with breakfast each morning.
apartment location near Queen Square was perfect for walking access to Bristol
'Kilner type' jars of tea bags and coffee sachets were provided and there were milk sachets in the fridge. more than enough for our 2 person 3 night stay.
appliances, cups, bowls, cutlery, towels and bed linen cleaning was good.
room decor ok two seats and a table were provided which is very handy, a second bedside table would have been nice for a cup and plate.
tv & remote working and good
network connection via wifi, was free, easy to connect, no personal details required and decent throughput for two tablets non streaming web access.
my first time renting of an apartment, so not sure if this one was typical, but it seemed a bit noisier than the economy hotels i'm used to (up to 22:00 at least, i didn't notice after that time). this was other residents socialising outside of their rooms. annoying but not enough to lose sleep over.
the floors were a bit scruffy around the skirting boards.
there was minor damage in the shower/toilet room: the toilet roll holder rotated 360 deg but retained the roll when vertical and the hand basin drain plug mech was broken and did not seal. neither of these caused us any problems, but i reported it asap to avoid being charged for it. the owner has since confirmed that no charges are applicable in this instance.
relieved it was a bit of a worry for a first timer.

Position and price! :)
The drawers were not clean and gave the impression that someone else had left the flat just before me. Apart from this, it was good value for money! :)
