Super Central Apartment in Bristol's Old City

Beautiful views and a central location made our trip to Bristol all the more enjoyable :) The Apartment was well-sized and warm and has potentially the most deceivingly comfortable couch I’ve ever sat on! Kitchen facilities were also great and the bed was super comfy. Would definitely recommend sticking your head out the windows and enjoying the views if you have the height to see over the edge! Overall we had a great stay and would certainly stay again as well as recommending this accommodation to others :)

Just a couple of things, but I wouldn’t really call them ‘dislikes’, more like ‘things I wish I would’ve known before booking’ - The apartment is on the third (and also top) floor of the building which is accessed via six flights of steep stairs which made bringing our heavy suitcases up a bit of a mission, but it was nothing insurmountable! - The windows absolutely do not block noise and the street below is often busy and noisy into the early hours of the morning due to the pubs. But equally, Bristol has a thriving nightlife so you kind of expect that sort of thing when you visit. Again, not really that big of a deal, just good to know. - Oh and the washing machine was broken, but the team is working on getting it replaced so it was just plain unfortunate that our stay fell in the washing machine delivery-limbo zone - plenty of laundromats in the area though so wasn’t a problem, just would’ve been nice to know in advance.

The place was cute and small, there were issues with mold and poor ventilation through the flat unfortunately. The main problem was in the bedroom and we had to keep the window open throughout our whole stay. However, it was a lovely little place to stay and is perfect for fit party people who want a home away from home that is near plenty of pubs and clubs. (Though keep in mind it's on the fourth floor, lots of stairs to climb up.) There is also a market nearby that definitely improved the overall stay. And as a bonus it was less than a 5 minute walk from the city centre.
