A good enough stay!

The directions were helpful The caravan had enough space, especially the main bedroom It felt like a quiet enough part of the caravan park The hosts were wonderfully responsive

We didn't know where to park initially The gate up the steps opened the opposite was to the door, which made it difficult to navigate getting in and out, especially with dogs The TV kept telling us there wasn't good signal, which was distracting!

Terry, Delia, and Scooby's weekend review

Hi guys. Apologies for the late review. Bad review for me, eh?, lol The caravan was perfect for us, and we had a nice weekend despite the grotty weather. The reason i didn't tick excellent on everything on the review is because we didn't use that much, especially the park's club room etc. Value for money was a slight issue as we found an identical pet friendly van for £100 less, but that was my fault for not researching enough. Edelweiss was perfect for us and our weekend in Dorset 😎👍 x

Although dog friendly, most facilities weren’t. Couldn’t access show bar, sports bar, arcade or most of main restaurant.

Shower door missing seal. No loo rolls. Remote controls had no batteries that worked.

Location was fine for what we needed.

It wasn’t clean upon arrival and we had to report this. Cleaner turned up later as we had left the property , but even on our return there were still items of clothing in drawers and some underwear with used sanitary products still in the wardrobe.

Complete Stress and a waste of money!

The only thing good about it was the view.

This place was absolutely filthy when I arrived so I spent 2 hours cleaning it. The furniture and carpets are badly stained. The TV was broken and didn’t work. Management knew about it at least two days before I arrived and fobbed me off for 3 days. The kettle didn’t work and there is no WiFi as stated only in the main Rockley Park entertainment area which you have to pay extra for passes to enter.

We enjoyed the actual site and area, but were disappointed with the toilet situation and equipment

Site and location

On arrival could here water running in main toilet cistern. Reported to owners & site maintenance. It was inspected by Rockley Park and we were told not to use it and it would need replacing. Luckily there was a small en-suite. We got fed up with this situation and left the day before the end of holiday, when it still had not been fixed. Several items listed were not in caravan. TV's did not work but were fixed next day.

Pleasant stay.

Instruction to caravan needs to be clearer. As doesn't make sense. Photo of the actual caravan would help. Its such a big park and the image of map wasn't clear enough.

Great location, fantastic activities for children, family freindly and safe.

I loved how close everything was, it felt safe for my daughter to be independent and go on her own to the park and shop etc. Easy having everything on site, the shop had everything we need, and the activties for children were perfect for everyday and resonable value.

Indoor pool, having to book so far in advance is hard, as you never know what the weather is going to do. Not being able to get spaces on some days is difficult to explain to children.

Azalea Caravan

Location was good as it was close to the beach. Staff at Haven were friendly.

The caravan was not very clean: Dirty cups, crockery and pans. Poo on the en suite toilet seat. Damp carpets (presumably from cleaning). Damp and urine smelling carpet in the 1st bedroom.

Really nice holiday for me and the girls.

Spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Well located, the play passes were good for the flume which the kids and I enjoyed.

DVD collection but DVD player wasn’t working, although we probably wouldn’t have missed it off the DVDs weren’t there. An iron to go with the ironing board would have been a nice touch but again didn’t spoil our experience.

Disappointing and not worth the money.

Rockley Park itself is good and friendly staff.

Someone walked straight into the property at 9am without knocking, upon realising we were still there they did not apologise, instead just told us we needed to be out by 10am. Incredibly rude. The property is dated, which is absolutely fine, but it’s grubby beneath what looked to the eye to be clean. We had called for guidance on entry and who we woken with was very helpful earlier that day.

Bedrooms very tight squeeze, toilet water ran continuously. No dedicated barbecue area.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway with lots of beaches and walks nearby

I was looking for a weekend break near the coast, away from the sweltering heat of London and this fit the bill beautifully. Parking was right on the doorstep and the decking was particularly good as it was fairly private and benefitted from a lovely cool sea breeze, The area was also remarkably quiet despite the number of holiday makers who were also staying at the park. There are lots of excellent beaches and walks nearby.

Coming back to the heat of London when the weekend ended. As it was locked tight with all windows closed when we arrived, the holiday home was uncomfortably warm. However unlike my flat, it cooled down very quickly once we opened the doors and windows and was then exactly what I'd hoped for during the rest of the weekend. For those who love a lie in I'd bring an eye mask as it gets bright very early.

Not what we expected.

Location

Unfortunately the caravan had a distinct unpleasant smell which meant our short stay spoilt the start of our holiday away. For the price of a one night stay it was not good value for money as the caravan would otherwise have been fine had it not been the horrible smell that pervaded from the door entrance.

We had a devastating family matter witch there homes was burned down when I mentioned this to site I told them I can’t stay the last day/night because of what happened they said there is nothing they can do they won’t refund me for last day/night I was absolutely devastated shocked 😮 Especially after what happened with my family homes burned down You will see from the photos pics I put up what happened to my family homes burned down

A great escape and relaxing time.

Gave us space to relax during the day and evening. The weather during the day was lovely so sat outside and relaxed.

The bed was a bit soft. The chairs at the breakfast bar made it hard to teach the microwave- I am only short.

Perfect get away

The caravan was lovely and had everything we needed. It was clean and welcoming. The location was amazing and the neighbours we had were lovely too, it was so nice to sit out and relax on the Veranda every evening and we really enjoyed our time there. The caravan was located close to all the shops and entertainment which was great.

Caravan had not been cleaned and when owner came to inspect it she basically had ago at us for saying her caravan was dirty, very very rude, only positive is the she did offer us another caravan but that smelt of cannabis so didnt want to stay there either 😂 would not stay there again

Caravan description didn't match criteria as described .door not locked when we arrived. Light fitting damaged in lounge. Description was decking & double doors. Dripping shower constant.
