Excellent host, Beautiful landscape Pods have stunning view. Plenty of open space and super dog friendly. This is a very special place.
I couldn't say I disliked anything really accept. The bar cafe is closed due to staff shortages. They do have visiting food vendors. And you have facilities to BBQ. Bit if you've been tracking all day. It would be nice to kick back with onsite cafe. Especially in the mornings for a breakfast before you head out. Not a deal breaker though. It would be nice if there was an enclosed shaded area near the pods to let dog settle if you go for a shower otherwise they have to stay locked in pod which in hot weather is not an option. Dog cafe and dog shower would make this 10/10

The view was amazing and there was lots to do within a reasonable distance from Bowdens. The signal was great too.
There were only a few shops close by and similarly there weren't many restaurants/pubs that were close to the campsite.
