Lovely, secure rural hideaway, 5 minutes from airport

Excellent communication from the minute I booked from the owner. He was courteous enough to meet me at the property to explain everything, how the shower worked, heated towel rail, touch lamps, electric security gates. Really helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Room was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable, shower in wet room, excellent. Very quiet lovely rural location, only 5 mins from silver parking. I did not realise there was parking available there, only because I didn't check my information prior to going. The owner explained where I could get a meal in the evening and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely book at the lovely property again .

Everything this is a wonderful place to stay. We were flying early from Bristol Airport. The journey from the barn to the airport took about 10 minutes. Comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. Larry was knowledgeable and welcoming.

Weekend getaway

Had an absolutely fantastic weekend away at Mystique Barn. Larry was extremely attentive and even gave us a list of dog friendly places to visit which was very helpful. Our room was like having a home away from home. The secure green for the dogs was amazing too. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely stay

Lovely little stay. The place was spotless and the beds were really comfy. Toiletries were surprisingly good quality too, which was a nice touch. It’s in a quiet location with pretty countryside views across the fields, and only about an 8 minute drive to the airport so super convenient. Our room was upgraded for free which gave us a much bigger bed, and we really appreciated that. All in all, a peaceful and comfortable stopover.

No food allowed on the premises. Only shower head is fixed to the ceiling, it would have been great to have had one that was detachable. I don't like shower caps.

Clean, comfortable and dog friendly.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable stay. The bed and sofa were great and tea, coffee and toiletries were provided. The walk in shower is gorgeous, and the underfloor heating keeps the place cosy warm. The host shared lots of useful recommendations for dog friendly pubs and walks, which we really appreciated. The parking is ample and secure, the paddock for dogs to run around in is great. The location was a short drive to central Bristol, perfect for our purposes.

It's worth noting that you are asked to pay in cash on arrival, or via bank transfer, payment isn't taken via booking.com. I didn't know this until a few days before our trip, and it wasn't really a problem however this could be an unwelcome surprise if you had been expecting to pay via credit card for example.

Lovely, quiet rural location about 2 miles from Bristol airport. Comfortable room, and excellent bathroom/wet room. Just the job for an overnight stay between flights. Nice big mugs and plenty of milk provided too. Excellent communication from Larry, who is warm and chatty, and touchingly keen for all guests to be fully satisfied with their stay.

Nothing - but it’s helpful to be aware that Google maps wrongly suggests the property is on the perimeter of the airport - it’s not - you need a car or taxi to get there.

The property is very secure. The view and open space was lovely. The owner was very forthcoming with ideas and suggestions to help us during our stay.

It’s a modern, secluded location that’s within 5 minutes of Bristol Airport. Our host, Larry, got in touch to recommend a couple of places to eat as it was a Saturday night. He also sent more accurate What3Words location. Room is clean and modern. Overall a nice stay.
