Cosy, warm well appointed cottage in an excellent location for Cheddar gorge and village.

Would have liked some outdoor space ok in autumn weather but would miss this in the spring and summer.

Lovely little cottage perfect for a trip to Cheddar.

The cottage was perfect for what we wanted. Out walking all day then so nice to come back to at the end of the day. Facilities are good everything working and the kitchen equipment enough for what we wanted. Would highly recommend this cottage so close to the village we did not use the car during our stay.

Cottage was extremely clean with good facilities. Interior was attractive and comfortable. Location was excellent; quiet but just 3 minute walk to pub, restaurants and country walks.

Over all very good. Street light is directly outside so would benefit from having blackout blinds in bedrooms.

Great holiday for sightseeing or visiting family.

Really lovely and cool in the hot weather and close to town and the gorge. Very clean and comfortable with kind hosts letting us stay until our car was mended.

Nothing it was perfect for us. There are steps that older people or very young children might find difficult.

The cottage was really well presented and stocked. Comfortable beds. Great location.

There was only one socket in the twin room and it was so close to the floor it was hard to plug in the extension lead. Needs another soft chair in the living area.

Cosy cottage close to the town .

Good location close to shops, bars and restaurants. Space for 1 car. The cottage was well appointed and well laid out and the kitchen was well equipped.

Excellent!

Brilliant location for walking into the village and very close to the gorge attractions. The cottage was cosy and clean and was equipped with everything we needed. Beautiful log fire. The host was friendly and contactable if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this cottage again if we return to Cheddar.

There were a few ants in the kitchen - they can appear anywhere so not really an issue.

Tastefully renovated, comfortable cottage in an excellent location.

A comfortable, warm and well-equipped cottage with everything we needed. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to everything in the town. The cottage is just a short walk to the bottom of the gorge and the caves and an easy walk to a good range of local shops and restaurants.

We liked everything but we had a bit of difficulty with the timing of the heating. However, our host came round very quickly to help us out. Otherwise everything worked really well

A Christmas to remember at Red Rose Cottage

We loved staying at Red Rose cottage, it was perfectly situated being so close to the local pubs, shops and restuarants. The beds were extremly comfortable and the fire place really made it magical for Christmas. Lots of laughing, eating and rainy walks were had!

We would have loved some plug sockets in the spare room, otherwise everything else was great.

we loved the feel of the cottage and how cozy it was - the wood burner was so lovely on a rainy afternoon. the location was absolutely brilliant for everything Cheddar has to offer and the bed was so comfortable!

Everything! The hosts are brilliant! Within minutes of booking I received a call giving me clear instructions on how to enter the property..well presented and warm..beds were so comfy..kitchen was well equipped. Can't fault in any way

Just the perfect amount of relaxation

The general feel of the cottage was cosy and welcoming. We slept very well in the beds and the log fire was so comforting. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children and the dogs settled in well by the radiator. Perfect position for touring the village of Cheddar and local walks. We will return for sure in the warmer months.

Foot traffic was quite high outside but we closed the blinds halfway for privacy. Not a problem really but a tip for future holiday makers.
