It was all fantastic brilliant could not say a bad word infact I had two dogs but only one lead and collar so I mentioned it to the owners and they were very helpful and were able to get me one collar and lead so on the last day I said to the owner I must give you your lead and collar he said its you can keep what was really kind of them so that's was really nice of as I would of been stuck with out it and at the time never had transport to go and get one as police gave me lift there I think they were shock when I go out the police van with two dogs 🐕 😀 English bull terrier & staffy

Nothing could be better it was all brilliant they even had a special offer on with the loge I was in so I would recommend going very dog 🐕 friendly to when they seen me jump out the police van with two dogs especially English bull terrier and a staffy the could of said we are very sorry but you have to big dogs and give me refund but they never so good on them letting stay

Superb

Lovely little holiday cottage in a great location. Very clean & tidy, with just about all you'd need. The shower is lovely! Sainsburys is very close, just off the bridge. The hosts had thought about everything to accommodate. Brilliant! Beautifully decorated, I loved the bird pictures! Thank you!

The mattress for some will be too soft. It has played up our backs a little. Keep that in mind if you need a firm mattress. There was also no wifi signal, but personally, I didn't mind. .

Exceptional

My partner and I were pleasantly surprised at this very quirky holiday lodge with everything you need for two and a bonus that we could take the dog. The place was spotlessly clean and everything in the lodge required really was to hand. The location was excellent, very idyllic, peaceful and quiet and the morning stroll with the dog through the fields and along the stream was perfect. Walking distance to Cheddar with several pubs en-route and different places to eat was another bonus. Also it was not too far a drive to Wells Cathedral, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Reservoir . The owners were always around and very friendly and helpful telling us some of the best places to visit. They were always on hand just in case anything was needed - definitely worth a stay. I will be booking to go back again.

Perfect find for a getaway.

A little gem, actually a very spacious little gem. Tucked away but just 20 minutes walk from the village and Cheddar Gorge is just 30ish mins walk away. A local tap bar within walking distance too. This is dog friendly, as were most of the places around, even the caves! The place was clean and comfy, everything I needed was there, ample kitchen wear. A very comfy bed and proper-sized towels. The only thing I could say on the negative side was the traffic noise from the nearby road while sitting in the garden, but don't be put off by that as there's so much around for peaceful strolls and dog walks.

I forgot to pack my slippers and the floors are all tiled, so remember slippers next time! Some traffic noise from the road.

incredible place to stay and would highly recommend, perfect location and close by to the George. very quiet in the bungalow itself and the owners were so welcoming and hospitable. did not want to leave. The camp site was beautifully kept and maintained.

Good sized dog friendly apartment for two people with all the facilities and lots of little touches

Lovely bungalow in a good location and with friendly hosts. We went in March and it was very quiet on the site and around Cheddar. The apartment/bungalow is a good size for two people and our two dogs. It has all the facilities you need but also little touches like kitchen rolls, herbs and olive oil in the kitchen. A lot of attention to detail has gone into the property.

Only point of improvement for us is the internet. The network is unsecure and the connection keeps breaking up or is very slow. But if you are there to relax and enjoy the area then this is a lovely place to stay

Fabulous location the mendip is warm and cosy and has everything you need. Nice hot shower and well equipped kitchen and very comfy bed. Staff were friendly and helpful and the site was well kept.

Excellent place!

The place is incredible. I think the description, if anything, doesn't do it justice. It's super cute, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, the room/bathroom are clean and comfortable, the sitting room is lovely with a huge TV and board games, the little private garden is excellent. Location wise, very near the town and all shops (including sainsbury and Tesco express). Staff are super helpful and lovely. They have quite a few bits in reception you can buy (milk, ice-cream, etc). Overall, excellent place.
