We had stayed here before. Nice area and not too far for my elderly parents. A little treat with a hot tub. Well that’s what we booked and paid for in the description and the blurb also the pictures(there is a disclaimer as all the pictures show a hot tub! Be careful!) On checking something directly with your partners hoseasons told no we didn’t have a hot tub??? But we could pay another £450 for one, as there was still one available??? Or take it up with Expedia who took the booking. After many hours at this point talking to chatbots and going round in circles spoke to some various call centre people who kept going back to hoseasons who said the same thing. Expdias partner admitted they had made a mistake in the wording of the listing. But still would not allow us to take the unit we had seen and paid for. I was given the option to cancel and lose 95% of the cost initially. But the trip was already only two days away so felt we had to take the risk of one without hot tub. The lodge / caravan was close to pool which was good. Albeit the times reduced the day we arrived? The lodge was not upto a very good standard, all plates and cutlery were needing another clean. Damaged and missing front blinds. Damaged and broken kitchen blind. Carpet stains and dirt inside sofa was not good. After the complete stressful faff over the booking could not be bothered to complain. All in all feel very let down by Expedia and hoseason who run this site. But staff were very good.
