Amazing - any time of year

Stunning place. I'd seen pictures and it looked amazing but still was better than what I was expecting. The decorations were beautiful. From the lights to the plates and bedding. Could not fault at all. Great location. We tried all the public houses and local takeaways and brought back.

A perfect Christmassy getaway for any time of the year!

The property is just so magical. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. We loved cosying up on August to watch a Christmas film.

The only downside for us was our children couldn’t play outside because of how steep the steps were but let’s be honest it’s cheddar gorge and it’s to be expected.

We felt like all Christmas’ had come at once when we stayed at this cottage.

The most comfortable homely property we have ever stayed in. The Christmas decorations were wonderful and the lights so enchanting. Lots of blankets so you could get cosy and relax. The beds were really comfortable. The location was amazing, you could walk everywhere and were right next door to Jacob’s ladder.

The property catered for everything, beautifully presented and even a treat fir all on arrival. It was very well located

The garden was different to what I expected, but that could have been my interpretation of the photographs, but in no way spoilt the holiday

The VERY steep steps !!!! Lack of empathy from the owners . I was in a haste when booking this property and didn’t read fully about how steep the steps where on the reviews. My sister who lives near cheddar went to very the property as our mum had mobility difficulties. I asked for a refund however was declined. Unfortunately my dad was in hospital the week before our holiday and sadly he passed away. We asked the owner if we could change dates but was declined . Yet the house was vacant the week after on the website. Yes it was under the policy of no refund or changing dates . We cut short our holiday break arriving later it’s a beautiful home and place but was not the right time to enjoy a Christmas theme or be in a holiday mood. What saddens us the most about this whole situation was the total lack of empathy and compassion from the owners.

It was very clean, comfortable and was well equipped for an enjoyable stay. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus. Very close to amenities and attractions.

Parking during the day could be difficult.
