The home was lovely and cosy, especially the annex. The hosts also left plenty of herbs, spices and oils to use for cooking and were very friendly even though I arrived too early!

Pilgrim's Rest is a fantastic cottage, right from walking through the door we felt welcomed and at ease. It is cozy without you and an enormous variety of nooks and crannies indoors and out that you are invited to explore. Facilities are substantial enough to be able to entertain a family over the festive period, there's plenty to keep you occupied! Situated on the edge of Cheddar, it is just a few minutes walk to the Strawberry Line and the Reservoir, and only a 10-15 minute walk from the sights of the town and the gorge.
A few sneaky gaps in the doors and windows mean that the ventilation can get to a level that some might find a bit annoying.
