Disappointing to say the least.

Location

Cleaning. Beds in basement. Shower in basement. Quantity of crockery. Cleanliness of crockery. Info sheets re waste collection. No table to eat from. And lots of other things

Great location and could be a beautiful property, but extremely disappointed for the price paid.

The location and the potential of the property were great.

It wasn’t clean, uncared for - peeling paint, rusty, broken garden furniture. Not enough seating outside or real beds for six. An old sauna in the basement, which was like a damp dungeon.

The locations was amazing with allocated parking. The Apartment was spacious and really clean and comfortable. I'd read reviews about the basement being damp but I didn't find this to be the case.

The neighbour above welcoming is with a warning to keep quiet. And that you don't get given details until the morning of your arrival.

pleasant stay but the flat felt unloved and was expensive for what it was

Ground floor/basement flat was wonderfully cool during the summer heatwave which we really appreciated. Great to have a parking space too.

Not particularly clean, kitchen needed to be refurbished, basement bedroom felt damp and musty, fortunately we didn’t need to use the basement other than to shower in. The outside space could have been lovely but overgrown with weeds, old garden tools and an old mirror

Lots of potential but needs work.

The location and size of the property were the best things about the place.

The property was in a bit of a sorry state. It needs quite a bit of TLC. There were broken window latches, cracks and chips in the plaster, rickety furniture, broken headboards, missing light bulbs and it felt constantly damp in the lower basement bedroom due to the lack of ventilation.

All in all we had a nice stay.

The location of this property was perfect , that’s why it was chosen. The rooms were spacious and everywhere was clean. Having a parking area was a bonus.

Outside space with tables and chairs to use was terrible ..no upkeep at all as shown on line ..weeding the area would have helped. While we were staying at the property the front of the property was weeded and tidied .. but all the debris was swept down our entrance steps which made it very unpleasant.

Nice place but consider it as a two bedroom apartment

3rd bedrooms couldn’t be used. It is located at the basement of the property, and it was really smelly and with high percentage of humidity. No ventilation. It was really unhealthy. We were 7 persons, and we were not able to use that room. We had to find an alternative apartment for two of the group. Backyard was dirty also couldn’t be used.

Superb

Excellent location for Clifton area and Uni. Spacious accommodation, well equipped, M&S food strore 1 min walk away, plus lots of nice places to eat out within a short walking distance. Friendly host. Netflix and WiFi. Small quiet courtyard at the back to sit outside. Good central heating easy to use and control, plenty of hot water. Nice homely property and would like to stay again.

Some things could be better. There were lots of weeds growing in the courtyard. Uplighters in the lounge not working. No instructions for the oven/grill we couldn't get the top oven to work. The lower bedroom is in the cellar and had no window so smells a bit musty and the shower had mould in the corners. My biggest complaint was this MyCityHaven use a 3rd party, creditautomation.com to take a £200 charge against any potential damage, plus they insist on a scan of your passport and credit card and also a selfie. The link did not work for me and as a result I got many messages from creditautomation saying I would not get access to the property if I didn’t supply this information, even though I had paid the full rental in advance. This proved very stressful. In the end the host allowed us to access the property without the £200 charge so all resolved in the end.

Will never stay there again!

Location was good. Within walking distance of the town and the zoo. Both of which we visited. Lots of nice places to eat and drink just around the corner. And several shops nearby to pick up things for our stay....such as toilet roll!

Scaffolding up, which we feel we should of been warned about. 3 big bags of rubbish left from previous occupiers, dirty laundry left by the cleaners, no toilet roll,filthy toilet brushes, no microwave although one was advertised and only 2 bathrooms although it was advertised as having 3. Musty bedroom downstairs which made the bedding feel damp, even in nice weather. Garden was a tip with broken pots and weeds everywhere. We did speak to the owner about some of these issues and he came round with some loo rolls and took the rubbish. But then we opened the dish washer cupboard door( thinking it may house the none existent microwave) and it was full of filthy dishes! I was nearly sick..it absolutely stank!!. Once again we spoke to the owner who did come round when we went out for the day and bought a new microwave and cleaned the filthy dishes. He did offer to refund some money....which we have yet to receive.

Muy buena estancia

El alojamiento está genial, muy bien ubicado con todo lo necesario a mano: cafeterías, pubs, calle comercial, supermercado... A un agradable paseo de una media hora al centro de la ciudad (y con transporte público directo para quien no quiera pasear). Las instalaciones cuentan con todo lo necesario, las camas nos resultaron cómodas y los dos baños se agradecen.

Por poner alguna pega, un día cuando llegamos a casa hacía frío y no podíamos poner la calefacción manualmente (pero es cierto que hay un calefactor pequeño de aire que ayudó a solucionarlo). Echamos de menos una cafetera (de cualquier tipo), tuvimos que comprar café soluble porque no había.
