Family holiday

Beautiful house. Very clean Beds comfy

Could benefit from some repairs being done. Taps loose, plug in bath didn't work, coffee machine not fully working. There was a lack of cutlery, including decent knives, and more crockery would be useful. When a house sleeps 8 you need more than 4 bowls.

Pleasant family break

Plenty of space for large family to chill out, well placed for days out all over North West and North Wales, and shops, restaurants and big Tesco all 5 mins drive away Spacious cooking, preparation and dining facilities Clean comfortable beds, large bedrooms and nice hot shower/bath facilities Large driveway and gardens

Would have been nice to have had at least some hangers to make use of the many wardrobes TV inconveniently located for size of property/ number of occupants Floor boards very creaky in all the upstairs rooms and one or two areas in need of minor repair or a lick of paint

Lovely stay with a group

Really spacious, everything you could need. Any issues dealt with quickly and beautiful home for a group get away.

It was perfect, it just would have been good to know someone else parked on the driveway as we missed it a few times thinking it was someone’s house, and someone made us jump when they walked past the window! But absolutely no problems, and it was all lovely.

It was clean, beds were comfortable!

No hairdryer despite me asking about one. Taps in the bathroom in the sink were awful and sink didi’t drain, garden furniture was dirty. other than that it was lovely.

Wonderful stay . Highly recommend

Lovely house and setting. Owners are friendly and helpful with plenty of advance communication to ensure ease of arrival.

Just be careful driving out of.the property as its a blind exit and while the road isn't busy, when cars do travel on it they tend to do so assuming noone is trying to exit properties. Maybe traffic mirrors at the exit might help? But this is a very minor point.

Lovely property and location

Beautiful house and very spacious. Lots of room for our party of 8. Kitchen well stocked with essentials. Ironing board a little dangerous and needs changing. Chair in kitchen broken. Lots of lights very flickery. Overall niggly things that need a bit of improvement but would definitely stay here again. Ideal location. Hosts great.

Excellent house with good facilities. I would definitely use that house again

The location was brilliant. Advice on how to get in perfectly clear. Beds comfy and rooms big enough and flexible enough to cope with a big group of friends. Close enough to restaurants that we could walk

Floorboards in big bedroom very noisy. No chopping boards and only one big bowl. Baking trays wrong size for the oven. We failed to lower the temperature.

We liked the accessibility to the garden from the kitchen and the ability to be able to sit outside at night. Liked that we could walk to the retail park.

Would have liked some more serving dishes for putting food in. Some instructions about recycling would have been helpful as could only see a box for glass and plastic, we come from an area that recycles so much.

The location was great and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms were modern and to a high standard.

We felt the property needed a bit of an update. One of the bedrooms was very musty and some of the paintwork was bashed. The bedroom with a velux didn’t have a blind, which was not helpful in the summer! Our bedroom had a wall of wardrobes with handles missing and looked in need of a good paint. The pillows were of very poor quality and very thin.

A glorious weekend in the sunshine in a spacious comfortable family house with lovely garden

Perfect location for our planned weekend staying with and also visiting family. Large family house with plenty of room for three generations to stay together comfortably. Particularly praise the communication from our host Danny which was superb, rapid response to any messages and he provided really helpful instructions and videos to help with the house. Large rooms and modern clean bathrooms. Super walk in shower. We loved the large kitchen which opened to the garden. Sunny warm weekend so spent a lot of time using the dining furniture outside and huge enclosed lawn for my grandson. Didn't need the dining room or sofas round the fireplace but am sure they would be a bonus if staying in the winter. Good space for parking. Generous and much appreciated welcome pack provided.

No dislikes as such. In the spirit of useful feedback a comment would be that although the kitchen was superb in terms of fitted equipment eg. quality worksurfaces, large fridge freezer, drinks cooler, large stove for cooking; the utensils were not quite sufficient - a few more mugs so not constantly washing them and basics like a bread knife, milk jug, teapot, kitchen scissors, bottle opener and t-cloths would be useful. However appreciate that may be a reflection of staying near end of summer season and guest breakages, wear and tear etc. Also although bathrooms very clean a tiny bit more attention to cleaning the sofas both on and under - noticed while collecting grandsons toys up. But really nothing major and would definitely stay there again its a lovely spacious house and the hosts clearly want guests to have a good time which we did.

A fabulous stay

The house is enormous and well equipped for a large group. The garden is beautiful and great for summer evenings. Bathrooms are lovely, completed to a high standard. A lovely house for a family get a way. Location fab, so much to do nearby Lots of parking available Fabulous communication from owners

These things did not spoil the trip at all but a few suggestions... Black out blinds and curtains needed on all windows. The sky light has no blinds which meant the kids were awake very early! Another TV, there is only 1 TV with a small sofa in front of it. Perhaps the yoga studio could be made in to a games room/TV snug Definitely could have done with another double bed, the room with its own staircase could have fit a double and a single.

Parking is a difficulty, as only 2 vehicles can fit on the drive and get in and out of the very narrow gate at any one time.

Deceptively big property that was lovely and clean with super comfy beds. Communication from the hosts was fantastic.

Lovely family holiday, Lots of things to see and do nearby.

The Property was very large, a mix of old and new, lovely big rooms, big kitchen with all facilities provided. The Children loved it as there were plenty of hiding places for a game of Hide and Seek.

We had a problem with one of the beds the first evening but this was fixed as soon as we mentioned it the next day.

Had a family break. If all the cons sorted it would have been perfect.

Area lovely. House plenty big enough. Prosecco and hotcross buns left thank you. Good size rooms. Lovely bathrooms and toilets.

Kitchen floor really very dirty. Dishwasher bottom drawer no wheels, bottom drawer of oven blue tacted. One lounge sofa very uncomfy and dirty, some parquet flooring lose, blown light bulbs in lounge. Main poster bed uncomfortable.

Comfortable Farmhouse

This is the second time we've stayed here and both times it's been very comfortable and relaxing. The house is very large with comfortable bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. A very large well equipped kitchen and big dining room allows the whole family to have a sit down meal. Its in a great location, not far away from shops, restaurants and Chester.

We felt the cleaning of the farmhouse wasn't really up to standard. We found a previous occupants boxer shorts under one of the beds and nail clippings all over the mantelpiece in the main bedroom.
