It was ideal for the seven of us, good proximity for Chester shops and attractions .

Close to the station. Very clean. Very good communication from people managing the booking Well equipped kitchen.

Not enough chairs for the size of the place. There was 7 of us and not enough chairs to sit round the table. Only 2 toilets, one en suite so not really adequate for the amount of people the house can accommodate.

Great location, plenty of room and a comfortable stay

Location excellent. Fantastic host who kept in communication throughout. The property was spacious and well equipped. It was perfect for a large family get together. Parking was opposite in the train station carpark, for £10/24hrs, which is very reasonable given the location. Everything was on your doorstep with easy access to city centre. Would definitely stay again.

The downstairs of the property, living room mainly, was not very clean. It looked like it had not been hoovered. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, so perhaps this was just overlooked. Decor could do with a bit of a spruce up, but this did not affect use.

Ideally located and spacious property.

Location is ace. Near the station and 10 mins walk to town. Toiletries are supplied which is great too.

Beds are very low and mattresses are a bit thin. Mattress toppers would assist with the comfort.

Good value for large groups

This property was perfect for what we needed. We were a large group needing accommodation for a wedding on the outskirts of Chester. We didn’t spend much time in the house - it was a place to sleep the night before & night of the wedding. There’s tonnes of space, all the bedrooms are comfortable & clean. The kitchen has everything you need & living area is spacious.

We didn’t need anything luxurious but if that’s what you’re looking for I wouldn’t book here. It looks like it used to be student accommodation or hmo. This did not have an impact on our stay though as we didn’t need anything more than it offered.

A large house great for a big group in a good location in Chester but it could do with some tlc.

The property was in a good location for exploring Chester and the surrounding area. Parking, although chargeable, was just across the road so easy to get to. The service company for the house were quick to respond to messages and booking went very smoothly.

When we arrived the front door was wide open which didn’t make us feel very secure. Nothing was out of place inside thankfully and the service company replied quickly to my message informing them. There’s only comfortable seating for 6 people max in the front room (although there is plenty of space for more sofas). As a group of 4 adults with 4 kids this was fine for us for the 2 nights we were there but if it was a group of adults staying here and wanting to socialise together in the house it wouldn’t be great. The dining chairs look lovely but aren’t very secure, all are a bit wobbly. The toilets on the top floor had a rather unpleasant smell and generally it felt like the house could do with a good clean through.

Great house for Cheshire adventures

This wasn't the actual house we booked, but given the size of the party travelling we didn't have much choice than to accept however, the house was immaculate and well located for a large group. There was plenty of parking and excellent communication from the company who organised. We were well located for the Cheshire ice cream farm etc but it means that we needed to drive into Chester which had its own challenges.

These points are really minor and didnt really have any impact on our stay but might benefit someone else if I share them..m Shortage of crockery and kitchen utensils ie teapot etc. There was a few other bits like: Kitchen bin lid didnt close Bath towels were limited and small But it was really only a clean base - and it delivered in abundance

Practical and well located large property with room for improvement.

Dining room furniture was nice. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was good, just a few minutes walk to the centre.

Many areas were just not cleaned, which was disappointing. Also some areas in poor condition. Entrance hall floor not cleaned, kitchen floor not cleaned. Bathroom floors and showers not cleaned. Radiator hanging off wall, damaged and unusable bedroom furniture, hole in floor poorly repaired. Mattresses very cheap and poor quality, no support. This place could be so good with a little more thought and attention to detail. But nobody wants to see hairs, nails, hair bobbles, holes in towels, marks on towels and bedding.

7 bedrooms with clean linen for all

Needs renovating, windowsills are rotten. back door was difficult to close and lock. Bathroom had stains in it. Only one toilet is accessible for everyone, others are in bedrooms. inside wardrobes were dirty. Oven was dirty.

perfect location for our Chester get away.

it was the perfect size for my family.

The shower tray kept filling up and then the overflow wasn’t connected so it poured out in the garden. It was reported, so shouldn’t be an issue for anyone else.

Was a great house for a large group, short taxi ride from Chester and easy reach of train.

Gesture for my mums birthday was a lovely touch! Overall a great house for a large group to use as a base!

Dining/lounge was not big enough for 14 people, this wasn’t a massive problem for us but would of been if we had wanted to all eat in the house together.

Good service

The owners responded to any messages and gave good details about the house. The size of the house was good and the location right next to the train station was good. There was two twin rooms, which was a bonus for us. The size of the house was great for 11 people.

There areno toilets on the bottom floor and Two of the toilets are on the top floor which was a bit difficult of you had anyone who was old/ pregnant. One of the beds upstairs was a bit uncomfortable but still useable. There is no dishwasher and not enough trays to cook food.
