Hillside House

This was the perfect house for a hen weekend and had everything we needed. (10 of us) Extra fridge/freezer in the garage which was kept open for us. The hot tub was well maintained during our stay. All the beds were comfortable. Large open plan layout. Cute little farm animals with the most beautiful sunsets on an evening. The location was excellent with only a short taxi ride into Chester. A lovely country pub about a ten minute walk with beautiful Sunday lunches. All in all a fantastic weekend had by all. Thank you.

If I did have to say something it would be the water pressure wasn’t great for showers and a couple of girls would have liked more mirrors.

Very clean, loved all the games tables. Plenty of parking spaces and very secure.

Location and property was beautiful and everything was clean. Location for chester is fantastic and not far from the motorway.

When we have stayed at similar accommodation which are part of a house the hosts have been in contact a little more - checking we had everything we needed etc. However there was no contact throughout the stay, which normally would be fine, however there was also a power cut on the street at around 9.30pm (no fault of their own) and we had to get intouch with them to see if there was any further information. They did come back to us straight away with details of when it would be back on though. We thought they may have come and checked we were OK and offered candles or something, we were also worried about the babies with it being cold without the heating on.
