Perfect! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful house, very tastefully decorated. Our hotel was very romantic with a bath, record player and great lighting. Beautiful living room available for anyone to use. Good breakfast with freshly made crepes and espresso. Lovely host.

There’s not always parking right in front but there’s plenty on the street.

Spacious and comfortable rooms. Loved the high ceilings, wood floors, style and decor. Beds were super comfortable. We stayed in the apartment which was very quiet. Our 3 boys stayed in a room - beds super comfortable and relatively quiet. Breakfast was good but very basic. Host - Pierre-Hughes was super accommodating and helpful - with restaurant suggestions and making reservations for us.

Arty furniture, and vintage decoration. Very plaisant, and romantic setting. The beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast was just right.

Some sound proofing to the doors can be done, even if this can change the aspect or modify the character of the house.

Beautiful house in a charming place, wonderful atmosphere in the rooms and garden, very clean and tidy, comfy beds and for breakfast... the best coffee, hot chocolate and self-made crêpes we've ever had. Merci beaucoup!

Excellent and we wish our host well. We would certainly stay again.

We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay at Artefact. Booked only the night before and on our way to the ferry Lamballe proved to be a pleasant and convenient stopover. Our host was very pleasant and welcoming. From James Brown playing on the 60's gramophone as we arrived, coffee and biscuits, our spacious, comfortable and sunny room, a good breakfast -- Artefact proved to be a surprise and in our view something of a treasure. The decoration was to our taste but visitors should come if only to enjoy the historic wallpaper in the lounge.

An amazing experience with great people!

It was a wonderful stay. Everything was amazing, the decor in the house and in the rooms was cute, quirky and comfortable. The staff was really amazing. The owner recommended places for me to go and even helped me set up and let me use the old bicycles they had for free. He also looked up bus timetables for me and had a lot of really great restaurant recommendations in the area. The breakfast was amazing as well!

Certainly hope to return in the future.

This was one of the highlight stays of our holiday- our last night in France. Fantastic welcome, amazing decor, the breakast was fabulous, it was also within walking distance of restaurants. I loved everything about it and would love to stay there in summertime to benefit from the courtyard area.

The only downside was that the parking was on the street and we were a little concerned. However, it is a very quiet area so even with the car loaded I would have no hesitation in returning

We loved our stay at l’Artefact. Our host was very welcoming, friendly and always there to make sure we had the best stay. The location is a newly renovated house with lots of tasteful details and cozy spaces. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. To top it all off, the homemade crepes for breakfast were delicious. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing week at Artefact! The place had so many great details! We had a big room with a lovely bed! The breakfast was delicious and we get addicted to the home made strawberry jam! Pierre is a great host, he is super friendly, great service and the best recommendations for hikes, restaurants and beaches. Thank you so much!

Cute butique hotel with a friendly owner - highly recommended!

Everything! The place is amazing, super cute butique hotel with a mix of old and modern design, great tasty breakfast with freshly pressed juice, croasaints and traditional baguette. The owner ia very friendly and helpful and speaks great English, which is a rather rare thing in these parts :)

Fantastic stay

Great decoration, clean, kind service, charming house with a lot of taste. The breakfast was excellent. A garden also available to relax outside in the calm. Recommend this place big time. Will go back for sure !

La chambre que nous avions choisie (et pour laquelle nous avions payé plus cher) n’était pas disponible à notre arrivée. L’hôte nous en a attribué une autre sans nous prévenir. Le thermostat de la douche était cassé dans la chambre que nous avons finalement eu, malgré la tentative de réparation du propriétaire nous avons dû nous résoudre à nous doucher à l’eau tiède. Au lieu d’avoir une vue jardin comme prévu la chambre donnait sur la rue. Aucun geste commercial n’a été fait par l’hôte, si ce n’est de nous rembourser l’écart de tarif de base entre les 2 chambres, malgré le fait que nous lui ayons fait part de notre déception (dont il n’a pas eu l’air de grandement se soucier).

Séjour parfait ! On se sent comme à la maison dans cet hébergement où tout a été pensé avec le plus grand soin dans les moindres détails. Les espaces communs de la maison sont incroyables et le petit-déjeuner un vrai régal. Un grand bravo pour votre investissement !
