The location was wonderful in the plains surrounding Mont-St-Michel. The awesome island can be seen from the street, rising up over the water. The place is a practical base for visiting. It is relatively comfortable, although it could use a chair in the room. Decor is unique and a bit quirky. Hostess is very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good and it was a delightful stay.

Host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. Clean. So great seeing the sheep herd heading to the meadow in the morning.
Clean, but facility and furniture old and well used.

Close to Mont Saint Michel, walking distance through farmland which is a great experience. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and the host very helpful and friendly.
You really need a car to stay at the property. It is not close to public transport and no taxis/ Ubers either.

Clean.
Good breakfast.
#1. The name of this place is different from what it’s shown on booking.com (difficult to find the house)
#2. No privacy
#3. You stay at someone’s home.
#4. checkout time is not correctly shown on booking.com
#5. YOU MUST HAVE A CAR. (Too dangerous for non-local to walk around between the house and anywhere. There is no light and many ditch. ) there is no taxi or ride-share app in the area.
#6. there is more…
I think the problem is the host wrongly registered the house on booking.com.
Please help the lady to update the description and business detail.

Nice quiet rural location, providing a fun, quiet walk to Mont Saint Michel through fields of sheep.
Everything was lovely for our visit.

Wonderful location and perfect for our family who needed more than 2 to a room. Breakfast was great and very complete and served by the wonderful Patricia who was very welcoming to us. Loved the sheep release in the morning too!

Very nice and comfy room with all the essentials. Very good breakfast with a variety of choices including crepes made by the host Patricia. U can walk to and from mon St Michel just crossing the meadow and mouton:)
Be prepared of the walking distance from the navettes place if u don’t have a car and have luggage. Otherwise it is a nice 30 mins walk with the view of mont St Michel.

The location to Mont Saint Michel is perfect. Patricia was wonderful. She encouraged us to walk to the Abbey at night, which was an accidental magical experience. It is one of our favorite memories from our trip. She also helped arrange for our flat tire to be fixed. Delicious breakfast with lots of variety and homemade crepes.
A fan would have been helpful, which may have been available if we had asked.

It is a beautiful peaceful place. Patricia went out of her way to accommodate me. She was a wonderful host.

Great breakfast with crepes. Loads more than we could eat. Helpful host who also advised over nearby restaurants.
Keen to get the city tax whilst I was still eating breakfasts.

We had a wonderful time at Ardevon. Patricia was a kind and welcoming host. The location is stunning, with Mont Saint-Michel in the background. A decent breakfast and a surprise visit from a flock of sheep made our stay even more memorable.

From the moment I arrived I knew I was going to have a great stay. There was plenty of free parking off the road. My host was lovely and welcoming and the room was amazing.
I had plenty of space in the room and bathroom was really big.
Breakfast was brilliant too, plenty of choice and at a great time too.
I’d very happily stay here again!

I wish there were drinking glasses for water and tissues in the room.

The owner let me leave the contents of my bike panniers at the property early afternoon so I could go to Mont Saint Michel. The location is very close to the Abbey. The breakfast was good.
The stairs up to the room are very steep and the hand rail is loose. This is dangerous and in many countries would not be allowed as paid accommodation. Picture to be added. I had to ask for a pillow as there was only two large and firm cushions which would be ok to rest against on a sofa or bed but are NOT pillows. I started having a shower and began washing my hair when the water turned cold. I had to finish with cold water which was very unpleasant. The owner said the other guests must have used all the hot water and turned on the water heater which wasn't much help to me by then. The bathroom door doesn't close properly and the bathroom smells musty. Also if you are a man and want to stand while having a pee you will knock your head on the sloping roof as I did. This was the worst accommodation of my 1 week bike trip and the most expensive. Don't stay near Mont Saint Michel. As a cyclist stay two nights at Ducey 1 hour away or two nights in beautiful St Hilaire 2 hours away by bike. I would highly recommend Le lion d'Or in St Hilaire. I booked and pre paid Mon Saint Michel based on the reviews which is why I'm posting this to warn people

Patricia the owner is very helpful. Breakfast is nice (freshly made eggs, and pancakes) and the garden and parking are good. The sheep farm is opposite, lovely to see the sheep coming up the road from mont St michel at the end of the day. the location is perfect, we walked to the restaurant and mont st michel from here.
Rooms are not the comfiest (bed/linen, hot in summer as no aircon/no tea making facilities in room/outdated decor...) not for romantic luxury trip!

Breakfast was very good with a variety of foods. The location is very quiet and convenient, allowing walking to and from Mont Saint Michel (also the shortcut across the grassland during the day, at low tide).
Too expensive (but that is probably the case for all locations so close to Mont Saint-Michel)

What we liked the most, was the warm and welcoming feeling we got from the host Patricia. Absolutely wonderful person. Beautiful breakfast with eggs cooked to order, and everything else was so fresh as well. The breads, croissant, cheeses, meats, and fruits were awesome. The coffee is amazing as well.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We wouldn't change anything. It was a highlight of our tour of France to visit Mont St. Michel, and staying at Patricia's place, Mon Saint Michel was very special.

Patricia was a great host who made us feel very welcome. The house was large and immaculately kept, with a great view of Mont-Saint-Michel at the end of the drive and farmland and sheep from the upper windows.
Disliked · The accommodation was faultless, but we would advise visiting Mont-Saint-Michel in April or May (as recommended by our host). We visited in July and it was so over-crowded that we abandoned our visit and went to the walled city of Saint-Malo instead (which was great.)

Location, cleanness, very nice breakfast
Breakfast hours - too early on holidays (8.00-9.00), we found it weird when - as requested - we left the key in the room door keyhole and yet, while us already driving out of the property the owner rushed out of the house, stopped us asking us about the key.

Patricia was very kind to let me check in early. I walked with my luggage from MSM about 3 Km. I was tired and early.
She let me use her bicycle to go back to town for dinner and explore. She also made a reservation for dinner.
She allowed me to store my luggage for the day. Then assisted with a ride to the train station. I’m very grateful for her extra hospitality!
I didn’t realize the distance from town without a car. Plan for it if you are walking.

Patricia 😀
We could not use the living area entirely.

The breakfast was sensational and Patricia was kind as can be. We loved the cleanliness and bright colors. We also loved the proximity to the Mont St Michel.
The room was very small, and the single bed for our 6'4 grandson was a little small (his feet hung out over the bed). The mansard ceiling was also hard for him to navigate, but the bathroom was great.

a little bit old fashioned facilities and bathroom

The landlord cooked delicious eggs and pancakes each morning which was a perfect way to start the day.
It's a bit far from Mont Saint-Michel itself, and I had to walk about 30 minutes to catch a bus to the site. However, it could be a good location for those traveling by car or bike.

Staff were friendly, not sure they knew we were coming since we arrived so late but they helped us out nonetheless
We had to wait a bit to check in since we booked only a few hours in advance

Nice Patricia, very friendly, with nice breakfast.
Free parking in the yard, really like a home.
The heater was almost cold in the second night and I felt cold.
