Hôtel Victor Hugo

My room was huge, the bed and linen incredibly comfortable, an amazing large modern bathroom with separate WC. Huge fan was provided as were bath robes and slippers. There is an empty fridge in the room, handy in this weather (July). The building itself is stunning, it's a converted 17th "hotel particulier" and is simply gorgeous. The team who run it are friendly, professional and very welcoming. Breakfast is a generous multi-choice continental with eggs to order a free optional extra. There is a small car park at the back, there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance to cater for all tastes. The hotel is 8 minutes from Mont St Michel and within minutes of all main roads to visit other sites in the area.

I really can't fault this hotel in any way, I chose to not give a 5* on facilities, purely because there is no kettle / cups / coffee facilities in the room - which I value and have come to expect as most chains in France now offer this.
