Macnoster

My family and my kids and their friends loved our time at Macnoster. It’s a perfect size holiday home with everything you need to have a easy and comfortable holiday! The location is brilliant as it’s literally around the corner from the beach! The Braai area was a win as it was protected from rain and wind, not that that mattered as the weather was great! The paternoster rental agents were very friendly, responsive and helpful! We really loved our time in Paternoster!

Macnoster does need a little tender loving care. There were a few lights not working. Main one needed was the kitchen light! Some of the locks wouldn’t open as rusted. The main one was the main patio door, over looking the front garden. The kitchen needs a few more sharp knives as there was only one. The TV needs to be updated as it made a high pitch squeaking noise when switched on. Nice grass out the front would’ve made it perfect as there were thorns.

Nice braai area. Rooms was nicely decorated. kitchen had every utensil needed.

the place was not cleaned. the front doors could'nt open. some of the lights are defective, the power tripped our first evening. because the front doors could'nt open the place was dark had to do with the two wall lights to avoid the power tripping. the saturday night it started raining and there was a huge leak through the ceiling in the main bathroom.

Mcnoster was a bad experience. Kitchen light did not work due to leackage in roof. No warm water discovered after first night. Geiser finally gave in after our third night. Leackage in bathroom. Partenoster Rentals staff were helpful offer us alternetive accomodation for our fourth night. Mcnoster was definitely not value for money.

Disappointing

Lovely big house close to beach.

Geyser was switched off outside. Nobody told us and after a cold shower my husband investigated and found geyser switched off outside. Wifi code was given incorrectly. Taps in bathroom was not clean. We could not find a corkscrew to open wine bottle. We had to go and buy one before enjoying our wine. I would like to go again to Paternoster but do not think through Paternoster Rentals again
