Fabulous, super - spacious house with superb views from practically every window! Size of property and closeness to the beach Communication with owners and nice hamper which means a lot

Luxury by the sea

Super house for a family weekend by the sea

Wonderful, comfortable and well equipped house. Super location overlooking the beach, across a road but very quiet. Owners were very lovely to deal with, extremely helpful and responsive to our questions and requests.

Perfect for a family gathering

This well equipped, full of light, spacious property in a fabulous location with onsite parking. Set ross the road from the beach with clear views of the beach, sea, Swanage and the Isle Wight. Local walk to Hengistbury Head as well as along the beach. Our 3 generational party of 9 quickly settled in for a splendid 3 night stay. The hosts were fantastic (as well as very lovely) and responded very quickly to any queries or questions. Would recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

A fabulous family weekend away, hosted in a wonderful home.

Super clean, parking for 5 cars and fantastic views out to sea! The hosts thought of everything from plenty of towels, lovely smelling hand and body wash, a kitchen full of utensils (even a doggy draw with treats, a kiddy draw with plenty of plastic plates and cutlery, two high chairs and condiments a plenty for those Saturday night takeaways) Overall we had a fabulous weekend, so much so all 9 of us have already asked to re book for the same time next year!

The only comment we would have was that the garden is open, so the little ones can escape. However that’s not something that would put us off revisiting. Just had to keep the furr babies on the leads!

The Mushroom House

From the moment we saw this property online we called it The Mushroom House and were thrilled to be able to stay for 4 glorious summer days. So close to the beach, sea views, well maintained and perfect for 3 mums and 6 boys. Great outside space for cars, boys to play, mums to sit & sip. Getting into the house was seamless as was speaking with the owner ahead of our trip. It really was the best holiday in the UK. We can’t wait to book again for next year.

Duvets need to be a lighter weight for summer nights. Radiators in bedrooms came on in the morning. No locks on toilet facilities. Could do with a full length mirror in the main bedrooms. Black out curtains would be a bonus to stop us waking up so early.

Lovely home, great location, easy parking, great that our dog could stay with us, excellent host.

House was a great size, location was excellent and it was good for the children to have their own rooms. It was great to have the log fire and the welcome box with goodies was a lovely touch. Being able to bring our dog was also lovely.

Little things would have made the stay easier, such as having dishwashing liquid (had to go buy some), replacement bin bags when the bin was full (had to use our own) and some basic condiments in the house such as oil for cooking, sauces, salt, pepper etc. For most high end stays we usually find these available. Also in the middle of winter the heating should be available earlier in the day and earlier in the morning. We needed to run the log fire to stay warm on 2 of the days.
