Large House near the beach - lots of parking and wifi

This is a beautiful house in a great location in Bournemouth, perfect for our group stay as close to the activites we were attending.. The beds were very comfortable and all the guests slept well. We enjoyed the dinning/sitting room, this is a great space for sharing food and relaxing with the gas fire on in the cold evenings. We all felt that the photos dont fully reflect the homes beauty.

The only minor issue was that the water pressure isn't very strong in the shower. Although all guests managed to have lovely hot showers so it really is only a minor!

Really lovely stay! The living room has changed since the photos when I booked and it’s such a nice update,loads of comfy seating and space for everyone to eat together. The house is nicely decorated and still has all the lovely old features, which we loved. We got it at such a good price too for how big the place is. The weather was great so we used the outdoor dining area a lot, and there was plenty of parking right outside which was super handy. The kids loved their family time, and I’d definitely stay again, might even come back with some girlfriends next time, it’d be perfect for a PJ party! Only downside is could of done with an extra key to the front door. There was only one.

Deeply Disappointed – Not Suitable for Families or a Relaxing Holiday We booked this property for a large family trip (9 of us, including young children and elderly relatives) expecting a comfortable and welcoming holiday home. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but. Inappropriate décor for a family stay The living room prominently displayed a huge painting of a naked Marilyn Monroe. While we appreciate art, this was completely unsuitable for a family environment where children and elderly relatives are present. It felt awkward and uncomfortable having to sit beneath it during family gatherings. Unsafe and poorly maintained toilet The downstairs toilet was essentially unusable for my 4-year-old son and elderly father. The flush handle was broken and the lid kept slamming shut — a constant battle and a potential hazard. A simple visit to the loo became a stressful ordeal. Inadequate, uncomfortable furniture For a house meant to host large groups, the seating was shockingly poor. There was only one sofa, forcing the rest of us onto heavy, cold, and frankly painful chairs. Some chairs were broken, and the design was more suited to a warehouse than a holiday home. Shower disaster The en suite shower upstairs was practically useless — the water would swing from scalding hot to freezing cold with no middle ground. Taking a shower was like playing Russian roulette with your skin. Filthy conditions The stair bannisters were caked with dust and hair, as though they hadn’t been cleaned in months. Spider webs were everywhere, adding to the neglected feel of the place. Unwelcoming garden rules The garden had multiple signs ordering guests to “Be Quiet” — written five times, in case we missed the message. This created an unwelcoming, almost military atmosphere. The irony? Neighbours were loud and carried on without issue, making the rules seem even more absurd.

Location was good for access to the beach.

Good size house, very clean, communication from host is very quick, you have most of the day to day required appliances available, location is great.

Excellent size house for our group stay and all the amenities required for our visit. Close enough to town to be able to walk in and well situated for a short walk to the beach. Plenty of parking available.

Only one key in the lock box to share between the entire group but otherwise no problems.

Rooms lovely and clean, service was good and put us at ease. Will certainly recommend to anyone visiting in the future. Thanks for having us!

Very clean throughout and good, quiet location. Took us 15-20 mins to the beach. Great bedrooms and we used the large dining space daily. I appreciated David's quick response to all my queries.

Too few bathrooms for 9 ladies but we did know beforehand. Couldn't access the garden from the dining room and windows only opened a little which made the space very hot. More outside chairs and a table would have been good.
