Fisherman's Cottage

No fault of the owner , but we didn’t receive the email detailing how to find the property . Naively thought the postcode would make it easily findable and thought the booking.com PIN code was for the lock box . After a six hour drive , not ideal . After looking for half an hour , I called the emergency number and the man at ‘ hoseasons ‘ who answered was very helpful . He could see the details to find and enter the property . He said the email had been sent , but I checked and checked , recently deleted / spam and nothing . Lesson learnt on my part to check before a late arrival !

Lovely little cottage, ideal for 2 people, everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Great location.

Could have done with a bit more light in the lounge, but not a big issue. Would also be helpful to have an information sheet, we couldn’t get the wifi to work for the first day & a half before finding a scrap of paper in a box on a shelf with the WiFi password. Shower room, small but manageable.

It is situated ideally for the Barbican ,How and the City Centre.

The only problem we had was leaving in the morning,our parking area was in the corner and we one hell of a struggle getting past the other cars parked in the area .

Superb location, right in the heart of the Barbican area of Plymouth, with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Having a parking space is a bonus! The cottage is small, (especially the bathroom) but has everything you would need for a short stay (except spare toilet roll!)

The directions to get to the property are incorrect - you cannot access it via Pin Lane & the letting agent was not contactable to get better information - we ended up walking round the area & asking residents for help! Correct directions: the access road is on the R, just past the end of the Harbour seafood restaurant - turn R immediately after the (now closed) ice cream parlour & go through the arch towards the New Street antiques centre - the cottage is tucked away to the R. (If you reach the Tourist Office & Mayflower Museum, you've gone too far!)
