The best accomodation for northern light

The most beautiful Rorbu we have ever visited 4 Nice bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, with 3 bathrooms, Totally perfect for a group of 8 With the best view and a lovely outdoor area Seeing northern lights just right in front of the house. Located in the best location of Reine, 3mins walk to nearest supermarket, 5mins drive to nearest coffee shop .

A good location to drive the magnificent south Lofoten area

We liked the location, the easy access, and the terrace. The Rorbuer had a nice homey feel.

We were surprised to find the beds had to be made with the linen provided We used the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom- the lighting in that bathroom particularly was inadequate It would have been nice to have extra towels and tea towels, as they didn’t dry and there was no service during our 4 days there

Superb View

Superb view. It was peaceful and relaxing. It was just beyond our expectations and we will definetely come back to stay longer.

Towels were limited. Basicly there was one towel per person. It would be way better to have at least two per person. Not a deal breaker.

Peaceful Oasis in Reine

It was super spacious and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and seriously amazing views. The Coop supermarket is only a 5 min walk away which is also where the bus stop (Andoya stop) is to go either towards the Moskenes - Bodo ferry or in the opposite direction to Leknes airport. The whole area was quite peaceful and I wish I could’ve stayed a whole week!

This isn’t a complaint, but more of an FYI for others without cars - the restaurants in Reine are across the water, which is either a ~45 min walk from the property or a short 5 min bus ride. However, just be mindful of the [infrequent] bus schedules. If you want to go out for dinner, you’ll have to be there for about 3 hours before you can catch the bus back.

Delightful and cosy house

New house very well positioned and with nice view. Private parking available. Be careful: all Reine is no parking zone, but it's not well shown: only a little sign at the entrance of the village. A good way for the kommune to earn money at the expense of poor unaware tourists (fine is 900 NOK)

Dishes are elegant but unfit to the dishwasher. Dishwasher misses a rake too. A couple more chairs and a Nespresso would have been a plus

Fabulous location in fabulously gorgeous Reine

2.5 bathrooms! A rare find. Place was quite spacious and had lots of comfy beds… tho we were only two. Really appreciated the coffee! Also we enjoyed superb dining at nearby restaurants.

This was the one problem. The lock box code would not work and of course it was pouring rain. When I returned to car I found a very last minute email correcting the code. That worked but we were soaking wet from not succeeding earlier. Also the dishwasher door didn’t close so we couldn’t start it like we wanted to.

A memorable stay in the property

Excellent location and nice view. Newly renovated

Door to patio is broken and cannot be locked properly. Rooms are too small. Beds are very small which made me wonder how the tall and plus size person can sleep well on those beds.

A perfect cabin

Brand new, beautifully designed and furnished, with two full bathrooms (WC+shower in each), and fully equipped kitchen. Located right on the water with a long peer, and stunning views. Walking distance from a local mini-market is very useful. Would definitely stay there again when in Reine.

More towels would be nice... :-)
