Embrace the history of lofoten islands by staying in a cozy rorbu.

Very friendly and knowledgeable host. He gave us recommendations for hiking in the area. The rorbu is also within walking distance of two small grocery stores and several restaurants. (I highly recommend checking out the restaurants and trying the cod tongues.) It was a convenient, and quiet location away from some of the more heavily touristed areas of Lofoten. Also, there was a very cute, friendly cat! I forgot to ask the host if it was their cat, but the cat seems to enjoy hanging out around the rorbuer either way. This was a great little surprise as we were desperately missing our cat back home who looks very similar!

Beautiful scenery, proximity to a bus stop and a shop nearby all made this the perfect place for our stay. Thank you :)

Perfect for our small group, the shower worked well and had nice warm water, the hobs cooked our food well and the rocks right outside the cabin leading into the water were perfect for (very cold!) swims.

Somewhere in the bedrooms for storage would have been nice but considering the beds took up most of the space anyway it would be hard to do much about that.

A lovely little cabin with a wood-burning stove right on the water. Very cozy and lovingly furnished. Very friendly host.

No Wifi, no oven for cooking, no toaster, no hair dryer.

Heerlijk authentiek verblijf aan het water.

Een prachtige authentieke rorbua. Op een mooie plek, volledig ingericht en met een prachtig uitzicht. Communicatie met de verhuurder was vlot hij reageert snel en heeft goede tips.

Incheck was vanaf 18.00 uur , dat zag ik pas na het reserveren, ik vind dit wel erg laat. Wij waren een half uur vroeger en dat kon wel. Er is geen tv of internet.

Abbiamo soggiornato al Lofoten Rorbuer Resort e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La struttura è ben posizionata, con una splendida vista sulla baia. La casa è spaziosa e accogliente, dotata di una cucina ben fornita con tutti gli utensili necessari. Anche lo spazio esterno è molto piacevole, ideale per rilassarsi godendo del panorama. Consigliato!

In particolare, tutto era perfetto: unica piccola mancanza, il phon per capelli, ma ce ne siamo accorti tardi in serata, quindi non abbiamo chiesto. Nel complesso, un soggiorno davvero positivo.

Rolig og koselig rorbu i Sørvågen.

Utrulig koselig rorbu i Sørvågen. Ein plass man kan finne roen. Fint bad og kjøkken, nydelig å sitte i solveggen og nye sola med et glass vin. Kjell var også veldig imøtekommende og tok godt vare på oss, kan absolutt anbefale!
