The host was wonderful. Picked us up for free from the feery the night we arrived. Popped in to check we were safely back from a long hike the next day.

Very friendly and knowledgeable host. He gave us recommendations for hiking in the area. The rorbu is also within walking distance of two small grocery stores and several restaurants. (I highly recommend checking out the restaurants and trying the cod tongues.) It was a convenient, and quiet location away from some of the more heavily touristed areas of Lofoten. Also, there was a very cute, friendly cat! I forgot to ask the host if it was their cat, but the cat seems to enjoy hanging out around the rorbuer either way. This was a great little surprise as we were desperately missing our cat back home who looks very similar!
That I had to go back home. :(
