Lofoten Sea Lodge

Very clean, beautiful view, quiet, easy check-in/out. Everything you need is available.

Arriving late at night due to a delayed flight the hosts had put the lights on and made the entry obvious. The Lodge is spacious with beautiful views and excellently equipped. We walked 50 yards to the local restaurant and Eliot and Tina reopened so we could have a meal. Back at the Lodge we were only 2 but there is good sleeping arrangements for 2 couples and a 5th in a single. Upstairs there is a large sitting room with great views to Ure harbour and a separate kitchen diner area with modern clean equipment. Given one day of heavy rain the washer dryer was a god send. Being towards the South West tip of the Lafoten Islands the beautiful scenery is breathtaking, as are several beaches within a short drive. You need to drive to Leknes 20 minutes away to find a large supermarket but there is a pub restaurant as we said on the doorstep

In our apartment, there were three bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, and then a kitchen and a living room upstairs. It was warm and cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful view. The hosts communicated everything important upfront, and the parking was available next to the house. Well-equipped kitchen, nice decor, enough space - we didn't spend much time indoors but when we did, it was very pleasant. Sometimes we heard the other guests, but it was nothing disruptive and probably just because there were kids. We appreciated the comfortable bed and blackout window blinds.
