It was a lovely cabin, beautifully situated on the water. We stayed 2 nights and found it comfortable with adequate facilities. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The location is great and the rorbu we got was very cute and cosy and also had a small kitchen. We really liked the views from the wooden pier in from of the rorbus. The restaurant was closed at the time of our stay (early October is too far outside of their main season I guess), so there was also nobody at the reception. The owners responded quickly to our calls and also helped us to arrange doing laundry there.
We did not get any food or breakfast and there were also no food options nearby. That was okay with us, we cooked by ourselves, but it was a bit annoying that we had to get kitchen essentials like salt and oil for the two days we were staying there - or eat very bland food. The kitchen in the rorbu also only featured the bare essentials you need for cooking, but that was no surprise. As the reception was closed during our stay, we had to call the owner for every question/need and arrange meeting times with them, e.g. for checking in and doing laundry. We did not use the sauna, as arranging to do so seemed too much of a hassle for us in these circumstances. Lastly, the rorbu did not have enough lamps to fully light it up during the night and reading a book in the evenings was difficult. We did not mind that too much, as we were lucky and saw strong northern lights during our stay (without needing to out! There is minimal light pollution).

Beautiful rorbu location on the marina. Quiet, and removed from city life. Cozy tastefully decorated dining room and living room areas at check in.
Loved this darling rorbu! Hated to leave it after the one night. Was not aware that linens are not provided in the booking, but thankfully, could pay extra for them upon arrival. (Then made up our beds). The host disappeared after we had checked in, but very pleasant young woman at the desk available to answer questions. Nice, warm areas to sit for a glass of wine or later on, a delicious slice of dessert. Breakfast is not provided, but can be purchased. We did not experience this as we checked out on a Sunday AM and the kitchen is not open. Had we stayed longer, a light breakfast could have been had at 10am. We left our keys in the basket adt the front door as the checki in was closed.

Staff was nice. Late check in supported. Nice view.
Too noisy. There’s a stair right above the kitchen that belongs to the neighboring hotel room. There’s people walking up and down all the time which makes a lot of noises. Sound proof was not good enough.
