Clean and warm. Very private and cozy.

Communication with the owner was lacking. When I called the provided number a man answered who said it was a wrong number. I called again and got an answering machine and I left a message. No one here to greet us or let us in. Not even sure we were in the right place. Called again and the man tried to help but hard to understand. Later tried to call again and got the correct person who said she never got the message. She came and let us in after a half hour in the dark and cold. She was apologetic. Then all was fine. She later baked us an apple cake to apologize. Yummy! (I will say the phone number was the same each time. Curious) The property had coffee and the tea was in the sugar container. No sugar to be found. No bath or shower soap offered. Washing machine was difficult to understand but I figured it out. No dryer and no way to hang clothes to dry. That was rather inconvenient. Twice I messaged her only to get wrong info once and no reply to the second message about drying the clothes. If you understand these inconveniences then I will recommend this property. Lovely location and Stamsund is a sleepy little place. No restaurants close by but Leknes has a good Thai restaurant only a 15-20 minute drive, was not a problem. The Lofoton islands are beautiful! Overall it was a nice 4 night stay!

Very cosy with all necessary confort.

Our hosts were present to give us the keys to this admirable little fisher house with a very cosy interior. The place is a perfect place for visiting Lofoten. All necessary confort is available and you just feel at home after a day hiking. PERFECT.

We played 2 games of Yatzee with the kids and I lost twice. In other words, no problem to report.
