Koselig! We Enjoyed Our Stay!

Our stay was lovely! The cabin was rustic and had an older, comforting charm that must be experienced. We enjoyed staying in a real fisherman's cabin and seeing old photos of the area many years ago. We came here with our elderly parents who were visiting us in Norway, and they enjoyed the coziness of the place. The stairs are a bit steep, so it's something to consider when staying here with older people, but for our parents it wasn't an issue, it just required more attention when going up or down. The owner was very helpful and gave us recommendations on things to do and see in the area. We enjoyed the restaurant next door as well and finally getting a taste of traditional Norwegian food and fresh fish. It is a great place to stay if you want easy access to the more popular lower islands (Reine, Hamnøy, Å), but would also like to avoid the crowds. We highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here again the next time we are in Lofoten!

Cabin looked like the pictures

- Weird smell in one of the bedrooms - Bedlinen and towels delivered after we arrived in the cabin - Main area was "clean" but outside of it, it was unsure if it was ever clean before or done properly - Instructions were unclear we had to go over all the houses on the picture and try to get the key.

It was clean.

- no instructions or pictures provided to find the apartment. The area was full of houses looking the same and we had to spend great time until we found It by accident. - It was not a house as marketed. It was an apartment with no noice sound proofing at all. - The cabin was pretty much in the original condition. Sheet metal of the fireplace was sticking out which could cut your feet. - 1/3 roll of toilet paper provided

Haus mit viel Potenzial, leider fehlt ein wenig Liebe

Insgesamt liegt das Ferienhaus sehr schön an einem kleinen Hafen und könnte ein kleines Schmuckstück sein. Auch war die Unterkunft sauber.

Leider waren mehrere Sachen kaputt (z.B. Sprung in der Scheibe der Terrassentür, undichte Abfluss der Duschwanne). Dazu kam, dass der kaputte Kühlschrank sowie ein von uns nicht benötigtes Klappbett mitten in der Unterkunft standen.

Logement plein de charme très bien situé.

- La localisation du logement, tout au bout du port, très tranquille avec une très jolie vue (sur le port). - Les peintures bleues et vert clair donnait vraiment beaucoup de charme au logement, ainsi que les hauts plafonds. - La terrasse et le ponton - Le mobilier de récup. (enfin un logement sans IKEA !) et le haut plafond - Tout cela faisait qu'on s'y sentait parfaitement bien. Peut-être notre logement préféré parmi les 5 faits aux LOFOTEN (et ils étaient tous très bien !). - La grande salle de bain au sol chaud avec grande baignoire type jacuzzi

On entendait très (trop) bien les voisins depuis la pièce de vie (mais pas depuis la chambre située de l'autre côté).
