Spacious place with practical facilities

A very large house (Rorbuer) with multiple bedrooms, separate bathroom for each room makes stay even more comfortable. Big dining area with kitchen facility. Comprehensive cookwares and tablewares. Electric kettle, microwave oven. Right in the heart of Lofoten so that you can easily reach A and other famous areas of Lofoten in 15min~30min. Free parking space. Purpose built bathroom with showers for disabled person.

Only minor trouble was car noise and light from the main street. Very sensitive induction cooker was a kind of trouble that we had to lower heat and reset the sensor. Heating of rooms tends to be slow. Otherwise no complains whatsoever.

Perfect place to stay in Reine.

I stay in house number 2 and 11 The view from both house are very good. You can catch auroras at the property. The facilities in the house were fully prepared. There is a heater under the floor.

The hot water tank capacity is 500 liters which is enough but it would be great if there is leveling monitor in the house, so guest can plan how to use it because if hot water deplete you need to wait for 3-4 hours to refill.

A relaxing and enjoyable stay with beautiful scenery and a great location.

The location of the hotel is excellent, offering easy access to nearby attractions while still maintaining a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and adds greatly to the overall charm of the stay. Waking up to such views truly enhances the experience.

There is no fishing net available for guests to use. It would be great if the hotel could provide fishing equipment, as it would enhance the overall experience of the stay.

We had a great stay at Andøy Vest Rorbuer, the apartment super clean and it has everything you need.

One majority pleasure in our 3-day stay was the clean environment and the wonderful ocean view. The bed was cozy and soft, the kitchen was clean and bright, etc. Overall a 10/10, we had a memorable time here at Andøy Vest Rorbuer.

Absolutely stunning views

Incredibly close to the ferry drop off with beautiful views of Reine/Reinefjord. The deck feels private and it was nice to wake up to the beautiful views every morning. The rooms were very clean, and it was nice to have multiple baths/showers.

Wonderful

Everything was excellent. The 3 br. cottage was fully equipped with modern equipment, facing the iconic view of Reine. A step from Coop and the main road. The bedrooms had comfortable size and beds. The check-in process was easy although unmanned service. The owner (or rep,not sure) was very nice,quick responses and willing to help.

In the winter or shoulder season , the entrance might be full of huge snow, making car-parking and dragging luggage (especially while raining or snowing)be not quite easy but not a huge problem. The window level is a bit too high for short guys to enjoy the view while sitting on the sofa or chairs😁.

I have been to plenty of hotel, houses, airbnbs around the world and this accommodation is the best I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. Extremely clean, new interiors, plenty of furniture, great view and position(really close to the supermarket and a few minutes drive from the center of Reine). The host is really friendly and will help you out if you need something. Truly recommend it

Awesome!

Nice apartment with 3 bedrooms and a living space situated in an ex-fishing village, where tradition is combinate with modernity. The apartment has a terrace in front of house with beautiful view on mountains, on the shore of the bay. Living space is in the same time the kitchen (very well equipped). The ex-rorbuer is situated on a beautiful location in Lofoten. Reine is a small village, great for hiking (the point to start to ReineBringen Hike, with awesome views to Reine, Hamnoy, mountains and fjords, is situated at almost 3 km from location) and walking / fishing to the sea. A mixed store is locaty nearby (2 or 300 meters) from location. Friendly owner (good communication). Parking free.

Modern and smart

Smart modern, very clean, well equipped, nice bathrooms , good location Good properties overall - unit 11 was better than unit 7 - see below for comments.

You need to read the descriptions very carefully as there are a number of units which are each different. Our first unit, number 7 (a three bedroom house), does not have a balcony over the sea which I had hoped for from the pictures, but has a balcony that looks out onto the other units which is not as pleasant. I had not realised that this unit is not next to the sea (the others are). Our second night was spent in unit 11 which is a four bedroom house and much more spacious with a sea view. Although they are well equipped, there are some strange omissions eg there only two armchairs for a house for four/five people - needs more armchairs (or a sofa) and no furniture in the bedrooms The upstairs “bedroom” in number 7 is actually a space under the roof (that you can’t stand up in) up a ladder - it has no curtain on its window - and has no door or curtain on the inside (it needs curtains). It is not really a proper bedroom. Two of the bedrooms in unit 11 are up some stairs and are also spaces under the roof rather than proper rooms. Would be useful to have instructions for the oven fan in number 7 (operated by remote control) and hobs in unit 11 (took us a while to work out!)

One bedroom window on E10, when it is warm with the window open you hear the traffic… Luckily not too much traffic on the E10.
