I love how they refurbished an old factory and made it a warm and cozy space for travellers. The breakfast portions were large, healthy, and delicious. The freshly made bread is my favourite! The rooms were spacious and well-furnished. We drove, so we really appreciated the free parking space.
A very minor feedback that the rooms were a little dark/dimly lit - we weren't comfortable opening the windows as our room faced the carpark. No big deal as we spent most of our days out.

Very hip hotel- cool furniture and relaxed atmosphere. I loved the jazz concert in the evening.
Great coffee shop. Pity that it opens only late morning.

Location
They did their best to accommodate us after we found out about music downstairs from our room. I appreciate the mission statement of the owners but not worth the price. Arm on chair in room just fell off. Had to exit out a back door. Part of our adventure to Lofoten

I liked everything, it’s a really unique and special place. Best view, great area, awesomeness throughout

My room was spacious and clean.
Girls at reception were exceptional, they are great hosts!!
Loved the vibe of the building as old factory.
Sauna has a smell, i have been to many in Finland but never faced the wooden surfaces in the sauna to be deteriorating and becoming worn. Perhaps plastic mats on floor could protect them and us by stepping on it and feel the dirt. Also at the bench we were sitting, the towel became brown from the wood and mabe dirt.
Breakfast is only one small buffet.
**I would like to have smoothie and waffles

The place definitely has a vibe. It's THE hipster/arsty place in Lofoten and it can be appealing to young people looking for a cool couple of nights in a hip place. The rooms are essential but beautiful, recently renovated, and the industrial bar is cool.
I was happy the staff let me use the yoga room to practice on my own (altoguht the yoga teacher seemed to have raised some concern, the aswome girls from the reception insisted she lets use the room for our own afternoon session, which was a plus)
...however, I would not reccomend to everyone. It is the most expensive place we stayed at during our 2+ week stay in Norway, but I don't feel the price was justifies by anything other than the vibe. The breakfast is extremely basic, the sauna was fully booked by outside users and we didn't get to use it, the yoga class was paid with just a small discount applied, so we could have come from the outside at almost the same price... it's clear that the hotel still isn't their core business, but rather they are focused on their bar/common area. you don't feel "pampered" as a hotel guest, which you would expect for that price. I would go back because all in all I enjoyed the stay, but I would not reccomend to everyone. The place has great potential (you can tell they are working on expanding their hotel offering) but for now, some may be disappointed by the hotel experience.

Breakfast was excellent, there were some freshly baked cinnamon rolls and lots of choice between fruit, chesse, meat, bread, etc... Really nice vibe in the bar/restaurant all day. The staff are really into working there, which is a good sign. The free parking for guests was cool and the background story of the building's heritage is interesting. Nice views too and a good location for a walk around the village.
Everything was good ...

Unique style, comfortable spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast with great vegetarian options and very friendly staff. Best almond croissant and pizza from the restaurant I had in a long time.
The walls are thin so you hear about of the noise downstairs but they warn you about that beforehand.

Outstanding and unique property
The new rooms are still without effective cooling during warm days. However, the staff were super helpful and provided me with a pedestal fan to try and keep things a bit cooler.

Picturesque surroundings, trendy interior, comfortable beds, reasonably priced and tasty food.
Parts of hotel are still under construction with hammering noise from 07:20 in the morning, almost half of the food and lots of the drinks were unavailable, breakfast could have higher quality local products (some fish for example).

Loved the vibe and style. Very hip. Sauna was incredible. View on the back patio area seemed to be the best in town. And the food was amazing.
We were woken up at 7AM every morning we were there by loud thumping from construction they were doing on the floor above us. And then drilling in the room next to us started at 10AM and was so loud it was pretty unbearable to be in the room. The building is a lot of exposed concrete which looks cool but does not hold sound well. So it wasn’t as relaxing like we would’ve hoped.
Front desk staff also weren’t the most friendly except for the chef and one guy that was there our first morning. They also seemed like they were maybe short staffed so I don’t want to be too harsh on them.

Amazing factory made into a hotel. The staff are really friendly. The views are amazing. The breakfast super tasty. It’s also just generally a really cool and lovely vibe there. Would definitely recommend.
The sauna needs a deep clean. We were there outside high season so some things not on yet, such as yoga. Just worth noting. I also understand the hotel is undergoing renovations but drilling right outside our bedroom door at 8am was a bit much. I would still come back though.

What a great spot with so much history. Breakfast was delicious and you can’t beat the views from the restaurant / bar area.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom room which was essentially two hotel rooms attached by a doorway. Unfortunately the only bathroom was accesible from one of the rooms. So at night, those staying in the room without the bathroom had to walk through the other room to get to it. Not a terribly big deal since I was traveling with family but for others this could be an issue since it was not clear in the pictures or room description when booking.

Very unique and modern for being this remote - loved the story behind the place!
Some breakfast items were slightly late, but it was ok as we arrived exactly at the opening time.

Staff were friendly. 1st night we were upgraded to the Big Loft, a very spacious room with 6 beds and a kitchen.
Breakfast was from 8-10 and was good.
The pizza at the restaurant was very good.

Brekky great, all you need. Great location in a delightful part of the world
We would have enjoyed another nights stay but we weren’t able to organise it. The welcome was friendly and professional and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Not a lot. Maybe sell a little more local goods on site

Great location in the heart of Henningsvær. Superb bedrooms, nice mix of new and the traditional factory walls. Great views from the outdoor restaurant area.
Would have been good to have a fridge and kettle in the room.

The staff at Traverefabrikken were great! The breakfast was very nice, and our room and the entire property were very well-designed and fun to enjoy.
I found the bed to be slightly uncomfortable—just a lot firmer than I’m used to. It was a little noisy at night from the music/bar—but totally acceptable. I knew to expect that.

Very unique style, renovated from a factory so please expect to see some machine art installations in the hallway. The room is spacious, newly renovated and modern. It's located in the center of Henningsvaer, close to everything! Staffs are super friendly, cafe is nice and breakfast delicious. I will recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Henningsvaer.

Perfect industrial place, sauna with extra fee but with view on sea. Really nice! And perfect guy on the desk, helps us with trip planning and give us a lot of recommendations.

Love the beautiful conversion of this old factory into an open and welcoming place. I admired the little thoughtfully designed details in the room and enjoyed staying there a lot. The room got a little cold at night but there's a radiator in case it's too cold and the blankets were wonderful. The breakfast was diverse and super tasty. The staff are the kindest people, ready to help out when needed. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
