It was a lovely room, with stunning view. We saw the Northern Lights from the rooms.
The reception is 700m away from the room so it was a bit far to walk at night time in the snow with back packs. Road was very slippery. Would be nice if property had a shuttle or car to take the guests with no transport there if the book in after dark.

A clean and cozy cabin
The parking lot is a short distance from the cabin, which may cause some minor inconvenience, and the outdoor lighting at night could be improved. We stayed in a three-room cabin, with one of the double beds located in the attic and accessible by stairs; it was a little cool during the night.

Pleasant location. It was interesting to stay in a rorbu.
The facilities are quite basic and there was an unpleasant musty smell from the bathroom. It was expensive for the facilities that are provided.

We had e great stay at Tide Rorbuer. The location is excellent, with a great view. The cabin was very clean, and the Tide team was incredibly kind and welcoming. We truly appreciate our stay and the food at the restaurant is so gooood. The place is calm and peaceful - perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended!

Close to Reine.
A little expensive for what you get

Nice cozy place with beautiful view out of the window. Most of the things that you need - you'll find in this place. Also quit close to many hiking places. Parking not near the place, but just 50 meters away (and maybe 10 meters up)
I would say we didn’t have the best experience with our rorbuer. We stayed in cabin number 15 and, unfortunately, its location was not very private - everyone going to other rooms passed right by our windows and, for some reason, often stared at us and even waved. This included not only other guests but also some of the cleaning staff.
The room itself was quite noisy; we could clearly hear conversations from our neighbors. The bathroom also needs improvement: some parts were semi-broken, for example, the toilet was leaking and the bathroom door wasn’t in good condition. Also, there is no way to charge anything in the bathroom (e.g. an electric toothbrush), as the single socket only works when the light is on.
In the entrance area, it would also be great to add more hooks for jackets and clothes.

Arriving late was no issue – the key was waiting for me in a secured box with clear instructions on how to find the cabin. The entire check-in process was simple and calm.
The location? Breathtaking. The red rorbu cabin stood by the water, beautifully renovated, modern, and warm. That night, I opened a bottle of champagne and fell asleep like a baby.
In the morning, I explored the nearby village of Å, where I sent a few real paper postcards – the kind with stamps, ink, and addresses, not just ones and zeros 😉
Later, I climbed the nearby mountain you recommended, and the view from the top left me completely speechless. Thank you for the tip – it was unforgettable.
Absolutely nothing – everything was perfect, peaceful, and beautifully arranged.

The location was really great, stunning views to watch the world go by. Hotel offered meals and breakfast if you wanted it.
Bathroom was very dark and tired. Could be so much nicer.

I had one of the cabins down by the water, on the south-east-facing shore. These cabins are really well furnished, with a fully functioning kitchen, nice couch and seating area and comfortable bed. They're great for self-sufficient traveling, as the supermarket is located a 5 minute walk away. The view from the hut onto the harbor is also very nice - provided the weather is nice, of course.
A cupboard for clothing in the cabin would be nice, as well as a heater for hanging up damp clothing in the bathroom. I had to dry my drenched clothes on the heated floor, which was okay but not ideal.

The quiet, quaint accommodation was perfect for us (a couple). It provided the perfect opportunity to get bags packed and sorted ahead of our trip home after camping for a week in Lofoten

A bit expensive.

The cabin is close to the bay and the furniture inside the cabin is also comfortable. Friendly staffs. Would love to stay again.

Very pleasant and cozy accommodation. Everything is clean and rather new and modern. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable beds, in which a good night's sleep comes immediately:) The kitchen has everything you need. Wi-fi connection very good. And the view from the terrace is absolutely wonderful :)
The road from the reception to the cabins is very bad (narrow, potholed and steep).

Beautiful, cosy, little fisherman's cabin. Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was well insulated and kitchen had what we need to make simple meals.
Nothing major but would be nice to have better curtains / blinds as we visited during their midnight sun and light was still shining through

The cabin was so cozy and cute, absolutely loved it. The facilities were great with everything that you needed to stay for several nights. Location was great as it was right on the water, and a short walk to nearby hikes.
The only thing that would have made it perfect is inclusion of some regular cooking consumables, like salt and pepper.

Fully equipped cabin, super nice view

- Very spacious cabins
- Beautiful views on the harbour and mountains
- Staff was really nice
- They told us the walk to the ferry was 30 mins (which is true from reception building), but from cabin to reception was an additional 20 mins walk (at 06:00 in the morning with all our luggage). Not great, since we primarily stayed here because it was close to the ferry.
- Kitchen could be better equipped (we didn't have bowls, kitchen towels or salt/pepper/oil)
- There is loads of space in the cabin that could be used to put some more comfortable chairs and a TV (although I guess the superior cabins have this)

Very cozy, felt like home
Maybe the dinning table was a bit small, and I think for 4 people it would have been too small, but for two it was perfect

The view from the cottage was great.
Beds and heating were comfortable.
Kitchen utilities were modern.
One of the door handles for the toilet was loose enough to come off.
A basket for toiletries in the shower would be good.

Cabin was super nice and calm, it is a real rorbuer on the water and we loved it.
It is very close to the ferry we needed to take on the next day which was convenient.
The hotel looked very nice too, only saw the lobby when we cheched-in/out, but seemed super!
Would be nice to have a late check-out.
Price a bit high for the area though, as it is not in any of the major towns in Lofoten.

I am sooooo glad I chose The Tide. The cabin is cozy and warm. Staying inside when there are storms outside makes me feel save and enjoying. And you can see the Northern light right in front of your cabin, if the weather is good (like I am the lucky one). And the most important thing is the landlord is the best in the world! She is sooooo kind and nice! I will definitely comeback again!!!

Great place to stay. The rorbu has new fornitures.
All was clean. Even if the snow cover all the roads, the staff cleaned the parking spaces. Fantastic view on the harbour.
