We had a wonderful 2-day stay in this beautiful and iconic traditional fisherman’s cabin. The whole experience was truly unforgettable! The location is incredible, with breathtaking views of the fjord and surrounding mountains.
Our rorbu was very cosy and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. Although the weather was wet and very windy during our stay, we took it all in stride and still enjoyed every moment.
We did encounter a small issue with the stove, but the reception staff were very helpful and promptly came to fix it for us, which we really appreciated.
Overall, it was a unique and memorable experience in Lofoten. Highly recommended!

The location is unbelievable and the staff was friendly.
I splurged on a waterfront superior cabin because in really wanted to enjoy the view. I had dreamt about this for months. This was my “reward” to myself for getting a clean CT scan (2.5 year cancer survivor). Silly me! The view I had paid extra for was not stop blocked by people setting up tripods.I stayed two nights. One night I had a whole Aurora Hunt group of 20+ people in front of my window.
The room itself was awkwardly designed and cheaply furnished (the cheapest IKEA furniture). The breakfast was okay but not great. The sauna was broken so I had to use the one of a neighboring hotel.
