A really comfortable spacious apartment which is challenged by the noise of the trams outside.

The apartment is exceptionally spacious within the living area, and has the benefit of a small outdoor space should you wish to use it. The cleanliness was really good, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is a 10 min walk away from the city centre, but there is a tram stop right outside the front door should you need it.

Only one pillow on each bed was a little problematic for us, but fortunately we could use the two from the spare bed. Two pillows per person would be much better. The noise from the tram stop directly outside the property was very loud, along with the chatter from the people queueing too. Fortunately we were out most of the time, so it wasn't too bad for us. There is nothing that the apartment owners can do about it, but I would recommend that future visitors bring ear plugs for night time as the trams run until very late at night and start very early in the morning, seven days a week.

Beautiful apartment in an amazing location.

We absolutely loved our stay at Maison N! The apartment was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. The furniture was comfortable, and the photos on the listing were perfectly accurate. It was just the right size for four of us. I especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, which made it easy to prepare breakfast each morning. The location was excellent, with everything we wanted to see and do just a short walk away. We parked our car in a garage about two minutes from the apartment and didn’t need it again for the rest of our stay. Highly recommend!

One small suggestion: the property description could be clarified to note that while there are two bathrooms (one with a walk in shower and one with a bathtub with a shower wand), there is only one toilet. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but it wasn’t what we expected based on the listing.

I would definitely stay here again if it’s just myself and my husband. Where we would only use the main bedroom

It was in a great location. Walking distance to all tourist areas of Ghent. Very clean and modem. The kitchen and living areas were Large and spacious too.

Unfortunately they were doing building works next door and the noise at 8am was very loud. Also the second bedroom faces the street. So you will hear the trams passing up and down until 1.30am and then start again at around 5am. The second bathroom only has a bath tub with a hand held shower and no shower screen. Even though it states there are 2 bathrooms it only has one toilet.

Disastrous stay

Well designed apartment

What a disastrous stay. The place is so loud that it's simply impossible to sleep or rest properly. I would avoid at any cost and will formally complain to Booking about a place of such low window insulation being allowed to be rented. Despite the windows being closed, we could hear all external noise—including conversations, phone rings, bicycle locks, and not to even mention a general traffic including trams. The host didn't even bother responding anything other than saying it's normal to have a noisy place in the city center.

Nice apartment but to much noice at night from the street.

Two very importent things that is a huge issue. The small bedroom facing the street is very hard to get a night sleep in. The noice from the street and especially from the tram, wakes you up many times every night. You should get sound proved windows in that room. There is as far as we experienced no aircon and in the summer, it is very hot without, especially when you can not sleep with the windows open, due to the noice. The other thing is that taking a shower in the bathroom with the bathtub, is impossible without making the whole room very very wet. How about putting up a shower curtain. Beside that the apartment is nice.

Superb

Top appartement! The appartement is beautifully decorated en so spacious. The kitchen is very well equiped. ( really everything ! ) Beautiful bathrooms are anex the bedrooms. I loved the office- corner, very cosy. The lightning in the evening makes this all even more beautiful. The communication with the owner is clear and correct.

The only minus is the noise of the tram I think double windows would be worth the investment.

sometimes practicality has been sacrificed for style - eg it was really hard to find the entrance to the building, the lighting in the lounge area and the bedrooms was very low, there is nowhere to put soap in the small toilet, it was hard to find stuff in cupboards (it took us a while to find the loo😄)

Perfect stay in Ghent!

Amazing appartment during any given season with everything you need. What I will remember the most about this appartment is how incredibly cosy the appartment becomes once it gets dark. The owner even had a beautiful Christmas tree for us during the holiday season :) I will come back for sure!

Highly recommended!

We loved staying at your apartment. The decorations and furnitures are stunning. We couldn’t be more satisfied but the only problem was the noise outside. We can hear everything from the neighbors, trams and people were making noises in the street, like very loud. All the jokes, laughs and even drunk people... After 10pm, they were getting a party together. A little bit annoying but we still had a good time at your place right in the center, next to a bank and a supermarket which is really convenient!

The front room is very noisy from 0030 till 0500 it’s quiet the rest it’s a real centrum apartment with city noise like trams, people, cleaning cars etc.. so don’t expect much sleep there or bring earplugs!

Spijtig genoeg voldoet de accomodatie niet aan wat voorgesteld wordt op booking.com. Zoekterm 2 slaapkamers appartement ik betaalde via booking.com. Helaas stuurde de gastheer erna dat er CASH op tafel 50 euro extra moest achtergelaten worden, zoniet zou 1 slaapkamer afgesloten blijven. Dat is boerebedrog!

Prachtig appartement op een mooie locatie. Groot en in goede staat, erg netjes schoon.

Als je niet gewend bent aan “stadsgeluiden” neem dan vooral een paar oordoppen mee. Met de tram die direct aan het raam voorbij komt, is het erg luid en mis je anders wat slaap.

Tolle Wohnung an superzentraler Lage

Sehr grosse und grosszügige Wohnung an super-zentraler Lage. Die stilvolle Möblierung, gut ausgestattete Küche, schöne Essbereiche und ein superbequemes Sofa sowie eine kleine Arbeitsecke bilden die sehr angenehmen Wohnräume. Die beiden Schlafzimmer (eines davon mit En-suite-Dusche und gegen den ruhigen Innenhof gelegen) verfügen über sehr viel Stauraum und grosse, bequeme Betten mit qualitativ wertigem Bettinhalt. Ein separates WC und ein zusätzliches Bad mit Badewanne ergänzen das Angebot. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung sehr gepflegt und sauber und hochwertig ausgestattet. Die Lage ist perfekt zentral, viele der Touristenattraktionen, aber auch Geschäfte, Kaffees, Restaurants und Bars sind zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Trams 1 und 3 fahren vom Bahnhof direkt vor das Haus.

Wie schon andere Rückmeldungen anmerkten: Die superzentrale Lage mit Tramstation vor dem Haus hat den Nachteil, dass die Wohnung eher laut ist - insbesodere auch da das zweite Schlafzimmer welches zur Strasse liegt. Für sehr geräuschempfindliche Reisende vielleicht nicht ideal...

Außergewöhnlich und zum Wohlfühlen.

Ein sehr großes, großzügiges Apartment. Sehr schöner, "einfacher" und klarer Einrichtungsstil. Reduziertes Design und "trotzdem" sehr gemütlich. Es fehlt nur ein 100" OLED TV an der Wand ;-)

Noch 2 weitere Schlafräume und 6 weitere Freunde - der große Esstisch und die moderne Küche laden einfach zum gemeinsamen Kochen und Essen ein :-)

Zentrale Lage, aber zu laut

nur Garny, in der Innenstadt

Straßenbahnhaltestelle direkt am Eingang zum Haus. Sehr laut ab 06.00 Uhr morgens bis spät am Abend. Im Nebenhaus direkt an einem Schlafzimmer Baustelle und Baulärm. Das eine Bad lag innen, der Abzug funktionierte nicht.
