Spacious duplex with terrace in the middle of the center

The location was perfect. Very close to everything we wanted to see.

There wasnt any privacy for the shower.

Super big space of the apartment living room/kitchen/terrace. We did not meet the host Carine in person but she was very responsive. Everything went smoothly.

Toilet only upstairs (very steep Flemish stairs). Floor and some furniture need a remake.

De geur van de meat factory was erg aanwezig in het appartement, ook was het niet super hygiënisch

The location was pretty center to anything you might want to see though the city itself is not that large. It was a very spacious space - very open as well.

There were 4 pieces of furniture broken and unusable. We did have other furniture to use but overall gave the place a very tired feel. The sheets were not very comfy and there was very little privacy for the bathroom /shower area, that likely is mentioned but I didn’t pick up. The building overall is tired which the owner may have little control over. We couldn’t get the coffee pot to work (could be us). Mostly it was extremely hot that day, and I understand this is not unusual for Ghent. Every other place we’ve stayed at in Belgium has had fans for every bedroom and living area (not an expensive purchase). The windows unfortunately are very high so they provide little to no breeze.
