Weekend trip in Ghent

Fantastic location to all the restaurants and pubs. The room was nice and very spacious. Went with friends and there room was much better than ours. I would stay here again but not in this room unless the sofa issue has been resolved .

The sofa should be cleaned or replaced. Several massive stains on the sofa, not appealing at all. The bathroom/shower room needs some TLC

Fabulous stay in a beautiful historic city.

Its proximity to the city centre is excellent, and it was very clean, spacious and modern, with everything we needed (except a corkscrew😂).

The sofa isn’t very comfortable, and obviously the lack of corkscrew.

A nice place within Ghent's city centre

The suite is large with many useful kitchen amenities. I liked the flexible TV mount that allows guests to watch from different parts of the suite. The walls are lined with big windows that allow a lot of sunlight in!

The bed, sheets, and towels could have been better. The little sofas were not cleaned properly.

Really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it to others.

Excellent location and easy to access apartment. Very spacious, light and airy and well designed. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was accessible and provided hot water quickly. Rooftop terrace was an added bonus.

Bed was very low to the ground making it a bit difficult to get in and out of for older people. Apartment needs a few minor maintenance issues fixed (one light not working, bedside light needs minor repairs and there was some mould in the bathroom tile grout)

Million-dollar view, bargain-bin bedding

These apartments are a real gem for anyone looking to enjoy Ghent. Located right in the city center, they boast panoramic windows that flood the space with light and city charm. The interior is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen is fully equipped, making cooking a joy. And the absolute highlight: a fantastic rooftop terrace — spacious, beautiful, and offering jaw-dropping views of the historic city. Morning coffee or an evening glass of wine up there is simply unforgettable.

Unfortunately, there were some drawbacks that affected the overall experience. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable — small, thin, and barely supportive. The bed linen and towels were clearly worn out and should have been replaced long ago — using them was, frankly, unpleasant. For an apartment of this level, such details are simply unacceptable.

Spacious apartment with plenty of light. Good kitchen area and bathroom. Very clean. Centrally located close to restaurants, cafes, bars, places of interest and market (Fridays). Comfortable bed but would of preferred crisp white bed linen.

Lovely apartment, very handy for everything in the old town.

The lock box was exactly as described and easy to use. The apartment is very comfortable, everything you need, loads of storage, and spotlessly clean. Just around the corner from most of the sights.

Nice place to stay in Gent, not suitable for mobility issues or if you need extra ammenities

Nice appartement right in the centre of Gent. You can park at a P+R, but those are in really run down places often. Appartement is pretty spacious and everything works well.

The hallway is very narrow with a really small lift. Imagine one of the towers of Gravensteen (the castle) for the entrance. Not suited for people with mobility issues. There were only two towels and a few glasses, but the rest of the cupboard was empty. Some more ammenities, or more glasses, could have been easily provided.

Everything that I had was better than expected. Very impressed.

The lift is a wee bit on the snug side. I had to laugh at the sign that said maximum 4 people as I was wondering where the other three would go.

Overall we had a great stay.

The location was exceptional! Ghent isn’t big, but from the apartment every sight, restaurants and bars were in close walking distance. If one wants to spend time on the roof terrace, it’s a nice spot.

While the whole idea of contactless check-in is good in theory, we were unlucky that the incorrect code for the key safe was sent to us. On the second try (calling through the property phone number shown in the booking.com app) I managed to get through to the property owner/manager, who was able to help us. While I prefer to talk to someone face-to-face instead of calling if any issues occur, the issue could be resolved quickly. The pillows were all a bit hard and high.

Very central location. Lovely well equipped apartment. Would definitely stay there again.

Not a complaint but a couple of suggestions. Better information about parking arrangements would make check in much smoother. Also rather than waiting for the one, really busy, check in person, perhaps a key box with a password would be more efficient.

I will not stay here again

The place is conveniently situated and boasts a lovely terrace. The large windows are a plus, and the check-in process is easy.

Although the apartment appeared newer and cleaner, multiple cleanliness issues must be addressed. These include a large spot on the wall near the shower, a dirty kettle and coffee machine, and floors that need cleaning. The handle on the main door is loose and wobbly. The elevator is too cramped.

Great place to stay, central location and the best thing is the terrace.

Self service system which was provided before check in, lovely apartment as advertised and very central location. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you need. Very clean and tidy as the pictures in the advert. Would definitely stay again if we are in Ghent. Also the terrace is the most amazing part, you can see sun rise and sunset with comfortable chairs.

Very minor wear and tear to the apartment, nothing to make your stay uncomfortable.

Superb

The room was exactly as shown in the photos. It is a very clean and comfortable studio apartment with a well apportioned kitchen and plenty of bright windows. The location is perfect for exploring old town Ghent. The underground parking is a 5 minute walk and easy to use once you initially figure out how to access and pay. There are small shops and grocery stores all around and a fruit stand at the end of the alley, just be aware that most close by 6pm and do not open early. We had been traveling about 2 weeks before arriving in Ghent and this was the most comfortable bed of our trip. The room is bright and cheery.

Be careful of the shower, it gets dangerously slippery. The unit can be hard to find initially as there are no numbers on the outside of the building and the only place you'll find the Snooz Ap name is by looking into a narrow doorway. Be aware that this area is hugely popular with the under 40 group in the evenings and on weekends can be very loud all night. Unless your part of the party you'll want to bring very good ear plugs.
