The location was amazing we would stay again just For the location

A child met us we would have preferred the host so we could ask about bins etc we had a toddler and it wasnt great for them there was glass pictures down the side of the sofa which were a hazard

Perfect for short stays in Ghent

Fantastic location for exploring Ghent, right in the middle of everything and well connected to the sights further out.

In the middle of renovations, but in the middle of town, so convenient, but still in the middle of being finished

We love that it was the center of town.

We did not like the fact that we had to walk up some very rickety stairs, and it was in the middle of a overhaul and being refurbished. It was still in the middle of a renovation and although we had to stay on the top floor and the view wasn’t what we expected The facility owners definitely helped by carrying our luggage up and down, and we had a lot of luggage.

Building a bit noisy, one bedroom is open into the living room with no door. Nobody met us went we arrived, so we had to hang around for an hour etc

The location was really great. Really close to the centre. The bed was very comfy (& big), the shower was good, (and the house cat very friendly). The room size was good. The bathroom is across the hall, but that wasn't a problem for us.

It was a shame that the slats on the patio chairs were broken as it would have been nice to sit on them more comfortably. It would have been good to have a decent size saucepan in the kitchen. We only ate in one night, and we did manage, but it was a bit tricky. To be fair, we didn't ask the owner about either of these things, and she may well have been able to help as she was very pleasant.

Enjoyed Gent but would do better research for accommodation next time

Location. The heating was good.

It was a building site. The room was not finished. The bathroom although was just ours it was across the landing. This should be made known when booking. TV didn’t work. This took a few hours to correct.

Excellent location for exploring Gent. Very large accommodation - our toddler loved running around! Unique, "unfinished" space, but still comfortable.

The stairs to access the unit inside the building are quite steep - we managed just fine, but did feel a little nervous when carrying our toddler.

Comfortable stay in the very centre of the city.

We loved the location as we could walk easily to absolutely everywhere. The house was interesting - a large property that had belonged to the writer Maeterlinck, which is being done up by the owner. It's definitely work in progress, but if you don't mind walking past that, once you get to your room everything is great. The bed was really comfortable.

Our arrival - we'd given the arrival time using the hour window from the app, but waited around 15 minutes, not sure we were in the right place or how we were going to get in, before the owner arrived having been walking the dog!

3rd bedroom accessed via 2nd bedroom. Wide opening joining 1st bedroom to living. Sunken bath/ shower - difficult to access. No bathroom door lock. 3 cats often at door trying to enter. Some street noise at night.

A fantastic unique warehouse style apartment for our family to bring in the New Year!

Caroline was prompt & friendly, very patient checking us in. Large artist’s warehouse style 3 bedroom - perfect for our family of 4! So unique and spacious. Great location for walking everywhere around Old Town.

The apartment block is undergoing renovations but that only added to the character of it for us. The spiral staircase with heavy luggage could be an issue for some people.

Very central location, comfortable extra large bed in studio apartment.

Kitchen in the studio apartment was too basic with no extractor, which meant having to cook with all the windows open when we cooked burgers. Our frozen chips wouldn’t cook in the oven provided as it was not very powerful. The studio apartments kitchen had an extra hot plate sat loosely on top of the original hot plates, which was a health & safety issue. We couldn’t plug the coffee machine in, the toaster and the hot plates all at the same time with only two power outlets. When the next door apartment was full you could easily hear everyone, let alone having to walk across the landing to the separate bathroom when they were walking out to have a smoke, which they did all night until 6am.

no parking as listed in the facilities. tv is old and doesn’t have modern functionality. bathroom floods due to bad design. furniture is fairly old and uncomfortable. stairs to apartment are steep. description is misleading, no parking and not deluxe as described.

Excellent location where we slept well, the mattress was good and we received a second blanket when asked. The bathroom was private and clean.

For even more comfort I would suggest a mosquito net on one window used for ventilation and a sound proof door as you can hear neighbourghs when climbing the stairs.

Extremely friendly welcome from hosts. No question or request was a hassle. Superb location only requiring a few 100 metres walked to be the the Old Town area. Nice hot shower with good water pressure.

The staircase railing was a bit wobbly, but this was a small issue relative to the other facilities.

It was a good location and the hosts alowed is to put our motorcycles in the lobby inside.

It wasn’t very clean at all. We had the penthouse Appartment with low hanging ceiling hosts that you were constantly hitting your head on. The stairs banisters are totally unsafe and loose. The stairs are really dangerous.

This gem of an apartment was a real surprise- it was enormous. The owners were very friendly and helpful. easy walk into the centre of the town for beauty and food and drink. Huge lounge/diner and two very large double bedrooms and one smaller double.
