Comfy bed , good location and good communications from the host

I know it couldn’t be helped as it’s an old building , but you really could hear people walking around in the rooms above , which can be a little disturbing.

Not bad at all in low season and if travelling with light luggage.

We stayed at the apartment #3, on the second floor for just one night in January, thus too short for a deep review. Overall, comfortable apartment in a central location and no major concerns during our stay. In low season there was no issue with noise, mosquitos and heat.

Unfortunately we found some hair in all beds - I know there might be multiple reasons for that, yet it should not happen, as it really drops the quality of the experience.

A wonderful stay in the heart of Ghent

A modern refurbished apartment (no 5) with an outdoor inside facing terrace. TV was easy to operate and kitchen had all that was needed. The location was excellent, easy to get to and from the train station by tram.

As with others the stairs are steep ( but manageable) . We heard little noise from other apartments but on occasion the design of the building would mean some noise can travel.

An interesting place to stay very clean

The central nature After being on the road for many days we were desperate for a washing machine. The owner let us wash our clothes we were most appreciative.

Was difficult for the 2nd person to get out of bed as it was pushed up against the wall. The stairs were very steep from the road. The tram stop was very close and easy to use.

Everything needed for a self-contained stay. Fantastic location, central to all attractions but very quiet.

Not the fault of the host, but as an Australian without a Belgian or European bank account, paying the city tourist tax was unneccessarily complicated for such a small amount. It would be good if this could be incorporated together with the payment for the apartment itself.

Perfect location

The location is superb, especially if you are for a short visit in Ghent. Overall, the apartment is wonderful, very cosy, light. There is a large bed and curtains that block the daylight. You can see that it has recently been renovated. The hosts are responsice and communicate with you a lot.

If you are looking for a quiet place, this is not the one to go. Although the apartment is renovated, the shower has a horrible smell already. Another thing that seemed weird is that the host asked to pay city fee separately, although booking had already charged it and all communication is done in Dutch, which is fine to translate, only seems a bit weird, if you aim to rent your place to city's visitors.

De ruimte in het appartement en de lokatie van het appartement. Goed om met twee stellen te verblijven en een leuke (stap)avond in Gent te beleven.

Het Inventaris mag wat ruimer aanwezig zijn. Denk aan serviesgoed.

De locatie is geweldig, rustig straatje midden in het centrum. Parkeergarage vlakbij. Goede uitleg hierover van de zeer vriendelijke gastheer.

El alojamiento es ideal para 4 personas, está bien ubicado y tiene de todo para hacer tu visita agradable. Es verdad que leí todos los comentarios antes de cogerlo y la mayoría se quejaban de las escaleras…tiene escaleras y son empinadas…pero es una situación que se repite en toda Bélgica así que no fue nada que supusiera un problema…Y más sabiendo dónde vas.

La ubicación, cerquita de la catedral. Muy bien situado y muy bonito decorado. Totalmente remodelado a pesar de que el edificio era antiguo. Los dueños muy amables, nos faltaban dos toallas y en seguida vinieron a las diez de la noche a proporcionarnoslas.

Los colchones de la cama y del sofá cama eran muy delgados y malos. Para dos noches bien pero deberían invertir en esto. También los tres pisos empinadas de escaleras sin ascensor, pero va bien para bajar los gofres! Solo a tener en cuenta.

De locatie was goed.

Prijs/kwaliteit viel tegen. Het pand is enorm gehorig. Hygiëne was niet goed. Bij aankomst bleek de vloer heel vies (plakkerig, resten chips en andere etensresten). Daarnaast was het heel slecht voorzien; er waren geen mokken, er was één glas voor twee personen. Geen theedoeken, doekjes, etc. Er stond op een bordje dat thee en koffie voorzien werden door de host. Dit was echter een theezakje en koffiecup per persoon in totaal, voor 4 nachten. Ik zou op z'n minst 4 theezakjes en koffiecups per persoon voorzien, als dit een service is (en anders gewoon niet aanbieden). Wel was er olie, zout en peper.
