The Residence George is very central (especially for town hall wedding ceremony). It is relatively quiet (most noise came from the creaky floorboards), Well equipped. Having read previous entries concerning the constraints of the optional parking space, we opted instead to park our car at the Friday Market (Vrijdagmarkt) underground car park. This entails a short walk to the property via the famous graffiti alley (Friday PM to Sunday 48 hours cost Euro 65).
The property fell short of the top scores due to the Mosquitos! In all 3 bedrooms we all woke up covered in a frenzy of mosquito bites. If the property had warned us that they had infestations, we could have come prepared with our own electronic devices and other deterrents to deter these nighttime stealth feeders. Even better the property could have installed their own electronic devices and other deterrents.

Difficult to find, poor communication with the host having to message him to send us the check in instructions and the entrance pin, fee structure not transparent enough, tourist fee and parking fee had to be paid in cash. Damp walls in one of the bedrooms and the living room, photos of the property don’t reflect the reality.
