Mediocre stay in Ghent

The location was great, walking distance to the Christmas market and lots of shops around. The beds were comfy and apartment was clean. It has a lift but the door entrance was rather steep and not pram-friendly/disability friendly

There were lots of noise from 11pm, people in flat above were stomping through and noise didnt settle until 1-2am… this happened for all 3 nights we were there. The apartment felt cold and no thermostat to control the temp. We requested a cot prior to our arrival but this was not set-up - host asked us to go down basement to find this ourselves. The design of the bathroom is rather silly, and there was an awful foul smell from sewage. Kitchen tap doesnt have hot water… Beware!!! There isnt any doors between living room and bedroom so it felt more like a studio!

To control the temperature in the apartment you need to reach out to the host! The city suffers from sewerage venting problems: this made the flat smell like the sewers.

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The location is right in the city center, getting the keys was very easy, and the instructions were clear and helpful. The apartment was clean and pleasant to stay in. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for cooking, and the fridge was large and convenient. For those traveling by car, keep in mind to check in advance on the City of Ghent mobility website (https://stad.gent/nl/mobiliteit-openbare-werken) to see if your vehicle is allowed in the central zone and make sure to register it. This apartment is very comfortable for couples. For four people, it’s good to note that the sofa bed is located in the hall/kitchen area and there is only one bathroom. Both the bed and the sofa were very comfortable, and the linens were of good quality. The only minor point is that the pillows could be improved. The staff are very polite and always ready to help. We would be happy to stay here again next time.

Comfortable, stylish and well-located

Great communication with the host and clear check-in instructions. The flat is modern, clean and well-maintained, with quality bedding, good kitchenware, and a stylish bathroom. We loved the big windows – lots of light and a touch of romance. The windows are excellently soundproofed, which makes the stay very comfortable. Air conditioning works perfectly – just keep the windows closed at night and there are no issues with mosquitoes. The building itself is lovely, with a beautiful façade and a convenient lift. The location is excellent – just a short and pleasant walk to the historic centre, so everything is easily accessible on foot. We’d definitely stay here again!

Elegant and comfortable. Well appointed kitchen. Very well located to go into the centre and to go south to the art museum.

Sound proofing isn’t fantastic - between apartments - and the street is noisy.

Odlično,priporočam.

Apartma je zelo lep,prostoren,v kuhinji je vse kar potrebuješ, tam je bila tudi tablete za pomivalni stroj,kava,sol, poper in olje, toaster,avtomat za kavo,grelnik vode in super pečica. Čisto in udobno ter par minut hoje do samega centra. Res odlično.

Morda bi bilo dobro,da bi bila v apartmaju kakšna navodila za termostate za gretje.

Un espacio muy acogedor y maravilloso

Un espacio muy acogedor, organizado y limpio, nos sentimos como en casa, muy cómodos y tranquilos.

Recomendaría que tuvieran elementos para secar el baño porque al ser un solo nivel, el piso siempre está mojado, y también que se pueda graduar la temperatura del ambiente.

De ligging naarbij centrum. Het appartement was voldoende ruim en bedden en badkamer waren prima in orde.

Schoonmaak was niet in orde. Een vieze geur bij binnenkomst. Een defecte kraan.
