Great Stay in a Beautiful Place

Location, location, location! The pictures do not do the apartment justice - it was very comfortable and larger than expected, the view of the church was amazing, and transport easy to use. Hosts were very supportive and provided everything we needed!

The stairs are steep but eminently navigable - no issues if you have average mobility

Great location overlooking Ghent. Lovely welcoming gift.

It's a bit tight for 6 people. Needs better shades to block out the sun coming in from large windows. In the peak summer it can be a bit stuffy at night. The staircase is a bit daunting. If you have mobility issues, I would not recommend since bathroom is upstairs.

The view of the house was beautiful. Modern decorated and very clean. Includes everything you need. Perfect location. Home comfort.

The stairs to the second floor are very steep, not suitable for small children. No direct parkplace available, you need to park at a parkhouse and walk for 300-400 meters. Noisy at night, due to the tram station.

Terrifying stairs in a wonderful place

The location was superb. View amazing, especially for parents of a young child who can't get out in an evening to enjoy the place. Baby facilities (cot, MATTRESS, high chair, toys) fab. Fairly toddler safe on both floors. One bedroom (smaller one) can be kept quite dark, the other less so. Apart from the tram noise and vibrations, it was really quite quiet, given its extremely Central location. Close to planes for breakfast. Host very lovely and helpful. Kitchen kitted out wonderfully, lots and lots of stuff in there and a dishwasher.

Only one gripe, but it's a huge one. The old building has a spiral staircase which we found terrifying. It has no handrail! The steps themselves are really narrow too. There is a loose rope hanging down the central pole of the staircase but this is not sufficient to make the steps safe. There is the small potential for a fall of about 2 metres, which could obviously cause one a lot of harm. I wouldn't have wanted to have had more than 1 unit of alcohol before attempting those stairs. We loved the place so much we would like to come again, but please, please fit a handrail!

unbelievable views and location

This apartment is amazing, is just in the center, in the most beautiful street with the three towers. There is a corner window facing Saint Nicholas' Church!! so so beautiful and great location. The apartment has all the facilities, equipped kitchen, a nice living room, and comfortable beds. There is a supermarket close by, restaurants, fries shops, and chocolate shops. The owner was at the door when we arrive to open and show us the apartment, the communication was easy by Whatsapp.

The bathroom is upstairs so you need to go up every time you need the toilet. Not a big problem but the spiral stairs are not easy or fast to walk several times. You need to pay attention to go up and down. Just a small detail but a small toilet downstairs would be so convenient.

Rooms with a View!

The photos don’t do justice to this lovely apartment, right in the centre of town. It is next to a tram stop, so super convenient and faces the cathedral and belfry which you view from astonishing floor to ceiling windows. Well equipped kitchen, clean and stylish decor.

Excelente ubicación con instalaciones cómodas y amplias, amenidades como café. Excelente comunicación con el anfitrión, resolvió todas nuestras dudas en todo momento.

Encontramos un poco de polvo en algunas zonas y las escaleras pueden ser un problema para gente mayor o niños. Sería excelente contar con un baño extra pero eso se sabe desde el inicio.

Geslaagd weekend in mooi appartement op zeer leuke locatie.

Ligging is zeer centraal, mooi zicht op delen van de stad. Ondanks de drukte en bedrijvigheid was het relatief stil binnen als je de ramen sluit.

Zeer warm (geen airco) in de slaapkamers. Veel muggen in huis.
