B&B B³ Boat

Enjoyed staying on the boat, there was plenty of room for the two of us. The description should say that the access is difficult for someone with walking difficulties or with old knees like mine!

Lots of cobwebs, could probably do with a good clean on the outside, it would be a shame if people were put off by the first appearance.

It is a unique experience staying on a barge. It was wonderful having a sun downer on the barge and watch the world goes by. The owner replied promptly and checked us in with no problem. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The breakfast provided was good. It was nice to walk into the touristy part of the town (and we are staying away from the hustle), looking at beautiful architecture and canals,taking about 15 to 30 minutes to get to the Count's Castle.

The free parking which was advertised was not free. Apparently, the rules have changed. The owner said he'd change it on the website but he did not pay us back the parking fees. Fortunately it was only about 4 euros per day. The accommodation is quite small, only a small part of the barge, staying for 1 or 2 days is fine otherwise it'd not be that comfortable, especially if yo try to do self catering. The place could also be cleaner, considering there was a cleaning charge of 45 euros. There surfaces could do with extra wipe, and there was so much cobwebs outside the window and deck chairs. Overall, it was a nice experience but we were glad to go home.

A nice and quirky alternative to hotel. Very good central location. Neighbourhood felt quite young and stylish: nice bar at the end of the street. Good communication from owner who met us and talked us through the accommodation and facilities. Well stocked kitchen and breakfast was delivered fresh in the morning and very good!

Not really a ‘dislike’ however bathroom is a fairly small wet room so you have to accept water everywhere.
