Disappointed as noisy neighbours and very steep dangerous stairs.
The downstairs was amazing and a very spacious kitchen. The host is very informative on parking etc.
The stairs were very steep, my disabled sister struggled with how steep they were, the stairs being steep are not mentioned anywhere in the description. The stairs to the upper floor had a lip on the top step which my husband actually tripped on and nearly fell down the whole flight. The steps are incredibly small making using them during the night virtually impossible. There is no privacy at all within the bedrooms, no doors and have to walk through the first floor bedroom to get to the second bedroom is not good at all. The step to get into the shower gets very slippy when the shower is used. The neighbours were playing loud music all Saturday night right through until 1am which is not good when you have to be up early the next day. My husband had barely any rest the night before we had to leave and he had to drive. Not very considerate at all.

    Parking problems
    Great location with supermarkets nearby.
Very cold despite owner-controlled temperature. Stairs make it unsafe, especially for kids.

We really enjoyed our short break and would definitely consider coming back
The location was very central for public transport and gave us a great base
The stairs were very steep but understand that is the way the houses are built here in Ghent We had a disabled person in our party who found it safer to sleep on the pullout bed in the lounge

Brilliant flat for an easy stay in Ghent.
    Spacious, clean lots of facilities.
Steep stairs; made it hard work with a toddler.

    Value for money.
Spacious apartment with all necessary facilities. Easy to communicate and great hosts. Ease of parking.
There was no shower gel and the mattresses are a bit too soft

Good location, lovely comfortable, quiet house. Steep staircases.
Location was great. Approximately 10 walk to centre for us. Quiet area. Spacious kitchen, very bright and well equipped. Bedrooms were a great size and comfortable
Staircase has been mentioned in other reviews but they are narrow and steep. I think they are typical in Belgium however so you get the authentic experience. However, you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the next staircase that leads to the upper bedroom. There are no doors so this may or may not suit all visitors.

    Overall it’s pretty good!
+ huge house with 2 floors + I would say available for even 6 ppl (the couch can be used as a bed as well if you know how to unfold it) + lots of kitchen stuff (we saved a lot of money by eating the breakfast and dinner at home since it has all the kitchen equipped well) + dishwasher / washing machine / oven / microwave / tv / Bluetooth speaker + location is perfect (about 10 min from center with the tram) and very quiet around that neighborhood + bus station very close (just around the corner) + the weather was a bit chilly when we arrived but the house was warm enough and on the colder nights the heater turned on automatically + kitchen design it’s pretty, has some big windows on the roof (ceiling?), it’s very bright (on a brighter days) and nice to enjoy the sky view while eating
    - the stairs are pretty steep (my parents couldn’t go on the upper floors since they had to use the bathroom often and during the night getting down on the stairs can be challenging) - 1 bathroom for 2 bedrooms and 1 living room (if it happens to go frequently to the bathroom than it’s not a good idea to sleep on the upper floors since the stairs and the wood it’s squeaky) - tv it’s working perfectly fine but if Netflix or YouTube is your fav streaming than it’s gonna kill your patience (the remote controller buttons are not working that well or maybe the battery is almost off) - not sure if the bed covers are changed with the ones from the drawers we saw on the first and second floor (but please hopefully not, or either wash them first) because we’ve seen some common clothes moth on those - for washing machine please ask the owner how to use it bc we couldn’t (the water wasn’t connected to the machine or either we pushed the wrong buttons but we fully followed the instructions left on the machine) - the shower water doesn’t leak that well and the wood thing in front of the shower can be very slippery (please be careful while showering and walking outside the shower since it a lil higher from the floor)

    Very good
Big place, lots of common space. Host very responsive on texts. The stairs to the bedrooms I didn't find to difficult, but maybe it is different when you bring a lot of luggage.
Parking is street parking, but we managed to find a spot quite easily and pretty close to the place. Costs something like 3,50 per 24h.
