Secret garden

Secret Garden absolutely lives up to its name. Tucked away from the street, quiet, and beautifully presented — you'd never know it was there, which makes discovering it all the more special. The property itself is stunning. Modern, spotlessly clean, and furnished with real thought and personal touches that make it feel like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep. The garden is a genuine highlight — peaceful, expansive, and home to the most characterful residents: peacocks and chickens wandering about, which was an unexpected delight and had us smiling in the morning. Stephan and his wife were wonderful hosts. Warm, welcoming, and just the right amount of present — close by if you needed anything, but never intrusive. You could tell they genuinely care about the place and the people staying there. Getting into Ghent was a breeze too — a lovely easy route from the back of the garden, past the willow trees, and straight into town. It felt like having a secret shortcut that made the whole stay feel even more magical. This is the kind of place that stays with you. Genuinely special, lovingly maintained, and hosted with real heart. We'll absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
