Elevated experience

Everything was perfect. Emma is super nice, and you can really see the extra care in the details. Simple things, like providing baby/kids’ soap for my daughter or leaving chocolate samples for each of us, truly show the difference between a good host and a great one. The apartment itself is excellent – spacious, cozy, and fully equipped.

This is a fully self-contained apartment. Includes toaster, kettle, coffee machine, microwave, oven, DW, WM, pots pans, cutlery, plates etc. Clean and present well. Furnished with lots of leisure room. Great location. Terrific host and very helpful. Speaks English, AND answers qerries immediately.

This was one of the best stays we had as a family.

The accommodation was equipped with everything we needed especially a washing machine. Small details matters, they made sure everything is available. Location was excellent, close to all the important attractions. Check in and out was seamless.

A fantastic hidden gem in the heart of Ghent!

We absolutely loved our stay here – the location is unbeatable, just minutes from all the main attractions. The apartment is incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and has a beautiful terrace (more like a large private patio on the ground floor) that’s perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom modern and comfortable – everything you need for a pleasant and stress-free stay. The pet-friendly policy and secure garage are fantastic bonuses. The owners are amazing hosts – warm, helpful, and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful space…..the front door gives no clue on what to expect. Opening up into a lovely and spacious inner hallway with loverly cooling (very hot weather this week in Europe). Once in the apartment you have a massive open plan space with everything you need to make you feel home away from home. All the amenities are first rate and I have to commend this place as having the best size / quality / space for the kitchen. Loved it!! Outside is a great patio area which has cover as boy was it hot this week!!! Contrasting this the main living and sleeping space were cool by comparison - massive plus here as it doesn’t have air con. Sam and Emma did provide a large pedestal fan and a portable ac unit to help given the extreme conditions and this really did help. Our hosts were very convivial and were always on hand if we needed anything. Emma literally met us outside on arrival and directed us to their underground parking garage (one spot) 10 metres away. The location is great too….just outside the centre but within 5-10 mins max you’re there. Far enough away to escape and easy access when you want. Overall one of the best places we’ve stayed and certainly recommend

Location was excellent. Apartment was very spacious and the building was really lovely. Host on hand to help if needed 😁

Trams (and tram stop) literally right outside our bedroom window. Recognise that trams come with having such a central position but we hadn’t realised how close and noisy they would be. We also wanted to add my sister to our party having originally booked for 2 people. We thought €40 per night for use of sofa bed was not justified by cost of laundry. Finally, having chosen a property with outside space we didn’t use it because it was not prepared for use (needed a good clean up). All that said I would still rate as a good 8 and we would stay again.

Comfortable and big apartment

Beautiful apartment within 10 minutes walking from all the city sights. Very spacious with everything you need. Best part- good quality of toiletries, nespresso machine with capsules, nice teracce. Very sweet and cheerful host. Very easy to get out and in from the apartment- not many doors, stairs etc.

It looks like the noise of the tram bothered some people. It was not an issue for us at all.

Awesome flat for a few days in Ghent

Excellent location, right in the city center. The hosts were very helpful and proposed even their own garage for a small fee. The flat has everything one needs for a short and even medium stay. The bed and cushions are very comfy. Overall good attention to detail (coffee capsules, shower gel,...) as well as a nice inner garden space.

It is not the fault of the hosts but, due to the age of the building and its downtown location, the noise of the street (tram passing, people passing by) can be heard a little from the bedroom. Yet the tram passes only after 7 am. It wasn't a big problem overall for us, as the conform level of the flat was already high enough.

Very good apartment, cleanliness level too, well equipped for those who want to have some meals, and it is comfortable and beautiful. It is well located in the center of the city.

In my view it loses due to the fact that it has a sofa bed. Terrace with great space, but sometimes with an intense smell of dog, which can be unpleasant for those who want to have a barbecue.

A delightful place to stay and Ghent is such an interesting place to explore.

The location was excellent and the apartment was very comfortable and stylish. It was very well equipped with the kitchen having plenty of modern appliances. The bedroom was a good size with a really comfy bed and the bathroom was really lovely with a fantastic power shower. With the high standard of accommodation plus it’s great location we were extremely pleased and delighted to be staying there. We would definitely recommend it!

A home away from home!

The pictures of this property don’t even do it justice - it is so spacious, stylish and equipped with absolutely everything you would need for a stay - including extra towels, pillows and blankets - oils, spices and condiments - and a much appreciated washer and dryer! The rooms are huge and the bed is super comfortable - and the bathroom is just incredible. After a stay in a tiny hotel room we were thrilled with Maison Drappier - in fact we ended up spending a lot more time indoors than planned just because we loved the apartment so much. Don’t hesitate to book.

Home away from home in Gent

The apartment is wide, perfectly clean and well furnished in a nice modern style. Every detail is cared for. All the complimentary stuff (water, salt, oil, toiletries, bathrobes... ) is very good quality. You can find everything you need for your stay! A nice terrace with a barbecue is available for guests. Private parking is available with a little extra. The owners are very kind and welcoming and, although they live upstairs, they are very discreet. RECOMMENDED.

Our stay was in the middle of a heatwave. The house has got a kind of cooler which works for a single room, but no air conditioning. However, I understand that normally in Belgium a/c is not needed! So, the property is not to blame for this.

The apartment is very modern and nice. There is much space and I felt very comfortable there. The bed was very cozy and Vicky was also very friendly and helpful. It is perfectly located, about 5 minutes from the historic city centre away. I would recommend a stay in this apartment every time.
