Clean and pleasant flat in central location

Our host was responding to any question quickly. The flat was spacious, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately there is no free parking nearby. Given we had to pay €20 per day in the parking we used (so, on top cost) overall it wasn't as budget friendly of a holiday as I'd expect but it was a comfortable stay.

Spacious well-equipped apartment, quiet area, close to city centre

A spacious clean secure apartment with high end appliances, well stocked kitchen, close (walking distance) to the centre of Ghent, shops, cafes, restaurants etc. Clear instructions for ease of entry/key pick-up. Was great to be able to do our laundry - washer with auto detergent & good dryer. Great shower pressure. Excellent accommodation in a quiet residential area. Thanks to the host, Anja!

In a nice quiet area, but only a short walk to the centre of town. This is an amazing apartment, spacious, exceptionally clean, high end appliances, a great kitchen with an excellent coffee machine, highly recommend a stay here.

Spacious apartment with great facilities. Host was easy to contact and remedied minor issues promptly.

But of a smell from the bathroom. But did not bother us too much.

Ok if you’re not English

The location was its most redeeming feature

The lack of response from the owner who decided her holidays were more important than responding to her guests, the fact that the apartment was only set up for non-English guests (very few instructions in English), bath towels were the size of hand towels, the television didn’t work, the washing machine and dryer again was difficult to use with proper instructions

Great stay

The apartment was very spacious and clean. Equipped with everything we could need and more. The host also answered all of our questions fast. It's located in a very quiet part of the city but at the same time only minutes away from the beautiful city centre, shops and restaurants.

There was no such thing. We did have a slight problem with finding the keys but received help very quickly :).

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Ghent. Location - near the tram stop and located near a local bakery and restaurants. It was also an easy walk into town. Apartment was clean and well stocked, with linens. Although I didn't prepare any meals, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal. The owner was very responsive and friendly.

It was as pictured, super comfy, fully equipped bathroom and kitchen. Everything you need to cook and feel at home too. In a quiet residential pedestrian street. Good walking distance from the centre. We loved our stay

Instructions to find the keys were sent to us in Dutch and somehow didn't translate very well so took us a bit of time to figure out. Everything else was great.

well equipped kitchen, really comfortable king size bed, spacious and modern apartment which is all very well designed and new

It was cold in the apartment even with all the electric heaters switched on. although it’s important to note that we visited in March and it was particularly cold. The bathroom and bedroom smelt a bit musty maybe because there is no window or fan in the bathroom.

The Location is great. Direct, close and quick public transport to Main train station. The apartment for 4 people really well equipped. Big shower. Great heating. Our stay was great.

Just getting really picky, there was no oven tray inside the oven. Just the grid one. But it was no issue at all for us.

Strong smell in what was otherwise a lovely apartment

Great location, walking distance to nearly everything. We brought our car, planning on parking outside of town and using the shuttle but we were informed of daily parking a street away for only six euro. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make simple meals. Easy checkin process informed of in advance of our arrival.

There was a mildew/moldy smell coming from the shower room that seeped into the entire apartment. It seems to be improperly ventilated as there's a note to leave the door open and a moisture absorption box. But it could have been because sheets were left in the washer, which weren't discovered until our second day. I through them in the dryer but the scent remained for the duration of our stay. Whatever the cause it would have been truly bothersome if we were there for more than 2 nights.
