It is a great resort just minutes from downtown Ubud, very comfortable connecting room for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, 2 rooms, 2 king beds, they also have the option for 1 king and 2 singles.

The a la carte Menu for dinner can improve.

Stunning rice-field views, cozy spaces, delicious food, friendly staff - simply great vibes

Beautiful setting with wonderful views over the rice fields and lush greenery. We loved the many different seating areas and cozy little corners to relax and unwind. The standout feature, though, was the record player in the room - we had it on throughout our stay and absolutely loved it. The food was wholesome and delicious, and the fresh coconuts were the biggest we’ve ever had. The staff were great and genuinely friendly, and the pool and daybeds were perfect for spending a lazy afternoon.

It would have been great to have an on-site gym - not only to relax the mind, but also to take care of the body. The occasional yoga class also wasn’t very inviting, as even when we asked, it wasn’t clear what type of yoga was being offered. More options for on-site activities would have been appreciated (though we understand this may have been influenced by the very low occupancy during the rainy season).

Great picturesque stay with friendly and attentive staff

Beautiful picturesque location that pays close attention to detail! Great place to wind down and relax. Very attentive staff and service. Automatically split bills when traveling with friends and sending them one day before checkout to review made the checkout so smooth and fast! Also the free outside yoga classes were nice. Oh, and they always knew our names, which made it all more personal… Can highly recommend!

The Spa was nice. Also booked a manicure with nail polish. Sadly the polish did not come out to well. Everything before that was done with great care and attention to detail. So I would suggest to have a bit more training on putting on the polish flawless without any uneven and different layered results.

Good bones, horrible execution - they need a management upgrade

Room was great

The management completely fell down on the job, from not responding to simple requests in a timely way, to not maintaining the property to an appropriate standard - there was trash everywhere along the creek that runs through the place, and scuff marks on all the wooden furniture, as well as floow-to-ceiling windows that weren't cleaned, and our minibar wasn't stocked despite multiple requests. My sense is that they have serious management issues here.

The location / setting is beautiful and peaceful.

What is there not to like. Breakfast was great. Our room was wonderful and so was the pool. We took advantage of the free yoga classes. And let's not forget the Spa treatment. Just heavenly.

Soulshine - a piece of Paradise

Everything about Soulshine is beautiful, such a peaceful setting, lovely food, great yoga classes every morning. Very well organised and run, staff are friendly and very attentive. Very clean and secure. Not far from the centre of Ubud. A beautiful piece of paradise 🩵

Awesome hotel in every regard!

This is a spectacular hotel! The staff is extremely welcoming and kind. The setting of the hotel is wonderful, everything is lush and green, the pools are awesome, the breakfast is exceptional (the bread alone is sensational), as is the food in general. Food prices are modest, in particular in view of the quality. There is a wonderful vibe in this hotel, it is not just that the staff are kind, the vibe is easygoing and relaxed and everyone is lighthearted (while a the same time very professional). Overall a fantastic stay, I would return in a heartbeat.

It’s a beautiful place overall and the staff are exceptional

Beautiful lush landscapes , the staff and the food.

For the cost of my room, a lot of maintenance was required with locks etc. fridge turned off not a lot of wardrobe space. My room was a long way from the event space. Panorama would have been better.

Great hotel and we can highly recommend it. Love the dedication for the food, rooms are nice and spacious with an amazing view (panorama room). We enjoyed the Yoga session in the morning as also the cocktail in the evening with sunset and DJ and live music on weekends. The distance to the city didn’t bother us (we knew it), to get a grab taxi wasn’t a problem at anytime.

- I didn’t like the fact that you can’t get in touch with the staff ( reception, housekeeping, room service,…) only by the application which doesn’t work most of the time or they don’t reply to it! It should be a phone in the room in case of emergency or anything! - its over priced

The free morning yoga classes were a real treat. Imagine stepping into a serene elevated rooftop room, its design inspired by traditional Balinese architecture. The space feels open and expansive, with wide, open windows on all sides, creating a space that feels sacred and peaceful. The various dining options at the restaurant were really good (and healthy) with a special call out for the breakfast smoothie bowl. The spa facility was also a really nice space, with options aplenty for choosing a suitable treatment.

The journey to central Ubud can become tiring due to traffic. All told it can take up to an hour or more during heavy traffic in a car. Suggest travelling via motorcycle if you’re comfortable with this option. The internet connection was sketchy at times and buffering issues were common. Can get loud with kids running around in the common areas. There are other resorts in Jimbaran Bay and Uluwatu at a similar price point which offer a superior experience.

Immaculate resort with amazing energy.

SolShine was amazing. The staff go out of their way to be friendly, including grounds staff. It is self contained with a few activities, however its very focused on yoga groups and wellness. Being in Ubud, it's picturesque and the pools are great. Loved the slide! Good for a couple of days where you're looking to spend more time at your hotel and relax.

The food is good. Drinks regular. The room is great, the facilities and the panoramic room view is stunning. The personnel and all staff incredibly kind and smiley , they help you with everything you need. The APP of the hotel is great for communication with lobby.

The pool was closed and we knew that when we arrived . The bed is not so comfortable, is too hard. The A/C is very noisy and not automatic, la always on or always off.

We had an amazing time staying at Soulshine Resort in Bali! The food was great, and the staff provided amazing service. The resort is quiet and fancy, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The beautiful rice fields surrounding the resort add to the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, the yoga classes were a great way to start the day, and the drinks were incredible and sunsets are just breath taking.

Concept hotel in the middle of the rice fields

We liked the hotel so much! It was clean, so friendly staff and the yoga place is amazing!! The view at the rice fields also incredible. For us as vegans it is very important that the hotel offers vegan meal, we tried every vegan meal and recommend all of them. The Pool ist so big and had a slide, I could swim my daily lap. At the "check in" the lady said that they will give us an free upgrade to the panorama penthouse!!! Sooo nice. The panorama penthouse is amazing. The view, the facilities, the big comfy bed, the turntable (my husband loved it), the big balcony and also that the room had a tv with Netflix and so on. In the night we watched a movie. Thank you so much for all. And the concept of the hotel were also really good, they have a own growing vegetables garden, they working together with a near by village, and all are welcome (really all).

3 things need more attention... 1. In the spa I was treated by a woman who was unfortunately ill. She was trying not to sneeze the whole time and I felt a lot for her, that's why I couldn't relax 100%. 2. The AC in the room was really loud. 3. The music played the whole day in all areas of the hotel. I think the place had a lot of peace middle in the greens, so they need more quite space, and not all the day music. We lay by the pool and wanted to read a book, but that didn't work because the music was just so annoying.

The only thing i did not like was music everywhere ( at both pools) . While it was nice music, you don’t always want to hear it, peace and quiet is nice as well. Perhaps the main pool,could have music and the secondary pool, peace and quiet.
